Not really a tactics question, but yeah.

You roll 1d6 to determine the strength.

then another 1d6 to determine the AP.

Then 2d6 to determine how many shots you get.

Imagine how awful that'd be if it was all on a single die. Your only chance of piercing terminator armor would be S1 Ap1 assault 2 or S2 Ap2 assault 4.

As these other posters have pointed out, any time a profile is determined by D6, roll a D6 for each trait that asks for it.
