This guy is perfect. When I clicked this page, I was expecting some sloppy attempt but this guy, again, is perfect! Great work on the face and hood man.

He couldn't get more Nurgle-y if you sneezed on him, he's awesome, that spine is amazing too.

Very nurgle. Only thing a little bit less his the left (his right) shoulder pad. Could be a bit more grown together. The hood, mouth (inside of the gaping zombi-hole) are superb. Want to see the thing with paint!

This is my first Nurgle conversion, and I'm digging the freedom that comes with Nurgle. You don't really have to worry about coloring inside the lines so to speak.

I got the head from the Pink Horrors of Tzeentch. The spine came from the Vampire Counts Vargheists / Crypt Horrors.

I agree, I'm thinking there needs to be a maggot somewhere, and a Nurgling as well (already have plans for one on the base).
The original plan was to add a tongue as well. still haven't decided to have it flailing about (like Homer Simpson when he burps), or just flopped out and dangling

Well actually, on closer inspection i now realize (only through the front picture though) that the nurgle sign on his (as we look at it from the front) left shoulder pad consists of the same sort of tubes the Typhus model has. If they came out a bit more it would be more clear. From the side it looks like there thick circles put on the pad.

The rest looks awesome!

I want to add a Tongue to this fella. Here are some options.

Tell me what you think.

If I have to choose, tongue A. But I wouldn't add a tongue to that bad boy.

I love the hood. It's very plaguey.

Don't bother with the tongue IMO, it looks amazing as is!

I'm 50/50 on with / without...

If i had to choose I'd say C, though you definitely need to make it drip with phlegm

Tongue would look better if you made it more like the rest of the model- ie all poxy, pustulent and rotting.

I think it looks better without a tongue.

If you DO add a tongue, it should have a skeletal chicken head on the end

I like tounge A best but it really doesnt need it looks cool and nurgly without it. great work

If you really want to put a tongue on him, I'd go for B, but I'd suggest dripping glue around it to look like saliva stretching between the folds in it, or something to that effect.

His name is going to be Al-Ghul the Jovial, Harbinger of Festalis Pestilentia (festival of pestilence)

I need something a little silly to take away from the Malevolent Daemon look. And a tongue has always been part of the original plan. Got the idea from the Forge World Greater Daemon.

So I took Tongue "A" cleaned it up a bit, and this is what we're looking at so far.

Pox, Pustules, Sores, Slime and Ooze to follow.

Missing the skeletal chicken head for one thing

Looks cool though. I genuinely do think that adding something else to the tongue to give it more a reason to be there will enhance the model though.
