So I've been going through the Hordes and Warmachines stocks recently (http://privateerpress.com/) on my conversion researches and I must say, their stuff is pretty alright.
However all the tech that they have have a kinda steampunk feel to them and the prices are on par with GW if not even more expensive at some points. For the most part I don't think that their models would do well with the 40K style BUT with the exceptions of a few.
Protectorate look super crusade-like (http://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery/the-protectorate-of-menoth) and I think that they would make nice looking Black Templars and Sisters.
Also the Cryx HQs (called Warcasters) look SUPER BADASS. I plan on making these 2 http://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery/cryx/warcasters/asphyxious-the-hellbringer -- http://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery/cryx/warcasters/lich-lord-asphyxious into daemon princes. But I don't know their sizes so I'm a bit wary.

So could someone send me size comparisons of those 2 models as well as their thoughts on converting Warmachines into 40K.

Both of those models are on 40mm bases, so they will be ok for Daemon Princes, if a touch small.

I've made a dreadn- erm helbrute out of a khador warjack which is about right for size there, a Tad short though.

Protectorate definitely goes with Sisters pretty well.
