Sorry the image is so dark. You may recall that I originally tried a red-and-white scheme inspired by a version of Iron Man from the '80's. Then Mantic used the same scheme for the MVP for Dreadball, and that was that.

I went back to square one, but every color scheme I thought of turned out gaudy and ugly. Then, suddenly, it hit me: I was trying to paint them like Space Marines. I think it was the v4 rulebook that mentioned that Marines were painted in heraldic schemes, which is why the bright primary colors work in that setting. In my mind, Enforcers (and the Corporation more broadly) would take a more businesslike, militaristic approach to fighting. I took out my old bottle of Tamiya NATO green, washed with Army Builder Strong Tone, then drybrushed up a couple of layers lightened with Tamiya Buff. I put rank and unit insignia transfers from Company B on their shoulders and viola! Soldiers.

I had some trouble with the hybrid kits, but I solved the problem by drilling and pinning to keep the shoulders in place while I got everything in position. The alloy that Mantic uses feels almost as soft as the lead alloys everyone used when I got into miniatures oh so many years ago, and I think I will do that with every hybrid kit I get from them from now on.

Here is an Enforcer next to a Vanguard trooper from Sedition Wars. Their armor and equipment look similar enough to use them in the same force, I think, with the Vanguard as basic troops and Enforcers as stormtrooper/drop troop equivalents.

These models are so fun to assemble and paint that I can't see myself picking up another Marine in the forseeable future.

Now showing Catachan Jungle Fighters and World War zombies!

Painting total as of 30th November 2025: 136 plus a Deva King statue

Painting total as of 12/31/2024: 107 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain and two walkers and a quad mech and five giants

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Ah that's cool I hadn't seen the two along side each other before. Yes, the Enforcer does indeed look like he could be an upgrade of some sorts from the standard Sedition Wars trooper!

Looks like a nice scheme, and I think you are right a more realistic approach would probably look better - could benefit from some better lighting and photos though!

I am looking at Enforcers for power armoured troopers for a post apocalyptic game I am working on. These photos show that they look good in a grittier scheme, which I am happy about.

I think they are great models, really. The only thing I don't like as much is the wrist blades, but I guess they would grow on me in person.

I've been wrestling with colour schemes for my Enforcers too.

I was thinking of various combinations of reds, whites and yellows, to get a kind of "high-sci-fi" look, but it felt a bit Marine-y.

Like you, I now think I am going to go more "realistic", maybe some kind of camouflage pattern - I haven't painted one before, so it's a new challenge too!
