Is there somewhere I can find a release schedule for Forgeworld? Or a rumored one? I saw that there is a Games Workshop release rumor thread, but I have been unable to find a Forgeworld one.

I'm going to move this to 40k general. As a rule we ask users not to start threads in the news and rumour board asking about X/Y/Z .. if people have info that's relevant then chances are there will be a thread about it.

The relevant " .. general" board is the place for any such threads, and it can he awkward to keep track of what is a known, unknown, a known unknown etc etc.

No harm done though

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all

yeah,
Part of the problem is that ForgeWorld newsletters are being put into and lost in that mess of a Horus Heresy thread, so on the N&R board it looks like FW have released nothing for months.

Not really. The newsletter tells us what will be up for pre-order. The various games days will show pictures of new models that will come out eventually, but as far as we the people are can see, it's random. It all depends on when the sculptor completes the piece, when the mold is created, and when enough crap is cast for them to sell it.

Trying to pin those guys down on a release schedule is like trying to solve a problem like Maria.

Thats probably because there isn't one. Trying to pin them down on "When will you be re-casting the bit to replace a miss cast" to better than "Soon" is bad enough.

To be honest I think they work on a "What do I want to do today basis". I doubt there is anything like a clear plan there, just stuff they are excited about at any one time, or at least that is how it seems, and for me I think it is a good thing. I would rather them make something they want to make and do it well than work to a plan and end up sculpting stuff they have no enthusiasm for.

You will probably get an idea of what they are doing this year at the open day in April.

Only the HH dedicated ones. Admittedly those are the lion's share lately but that's hardly our fault.

Actually, I posted some minor non-HH FW news there as well, just above your "can't the guy read" post

Here the part relevant to release schedules:

2. Work on the next heresy book will increase after latest IA book has been finished off

3. Black Fire Pass book has been delayed. May not be completed until after the second heresy book could be pushed even further down the line.
