Dam Vik you keep ruining all the surprise ….. He was going to be standing up right for sure …… so when some one said thats not right , I was going to say this is the side effect of the toxin creating a kind of Evolution within him, he will be slightly less built in mass as well
STRIKE FORCE !!!!!!! did you not read the toxin has been destroyed for fear of a new super Ork race ! …….However I could say that Zeno took samples of his own blood and cloned himself Hmmmmmmmmmmmm No cant this is my Avatar just the one.

Steam punk priest definitely what I would envision …… or a steam punk gent something along those lines for sure ….. But if you go down the gent line don't go for the suit look you need more an admiral type uniform, something grand that invokes the look of power.
Lots of detail and extra's but done in an elegant but extravagant style …. That is the key word style is a must ……..

No, no..no. Riveteers are working-class, ALWAYS, there will be NO GODDAMN aristocracy or bluebloods or high-born in any cult I am attached to! All riveteers are created equal! It is their workmanship that will set them apart.
The first riveteer that walks around the chapel thinking he was born superior and has some inherent right to tell other riveteers what to do, will personally get my rivet gun to his knee. Or his face

Yes, but the Ork is working class, however you still need some kind of structure to the house of Riveters, I just assumed that you and Vik were the founders therefore hold the highest position within.
Plus my character only carries himself this way as to be more human like therefore less Ork like

Yes, Dave true but remember status can be bought but class is a birth right ….. Therefore being a true gentlemen has nothing to do with power, money or status just the way one portrays themselves.

God damn it I was thinking of a top hat and cane! Maybe converting my Waagh dakka ork to alternate hands between a cane and wrench of some sort and the two pistols? I just need to find the bitz... and with all these ideas flowing through the thread, I really think these steampunkers (both vik's and otherwise) deserve a backstory of some kind, maybe even a short story (in the style of shaso's army, with thier kommissars and such)

Orks are certainly welcome in the -=]_=-, if they rivet, extraordinarily. And LDD you are correct when you say:
lone dirty dog wrote: just assumed that you and Vik were the founders therefore hold the highest position within.
But let's clarify a couple of things:
I spend every day of my life wiping the asses of those who *think* their money puts them in an upper class to me, when in reality, they are helpless, clueless, morons in the worst possible sense. However, their checks don't bounce
I absolutely reject the idea that you are born to one class or another, and stuck there for life. Sorry dood, that's bullshhiiit. I was born to a factory worker and a grocery-store worker, and I worked too damn hard to get where I am today.
Commie, no. But do I believe that if left unchecked, and unregulated, Corporations, banks, and rich people will always take every possible opportunity to exploit working-class people. and take their own imaginary birthrights at the tip of a sword (or gun, or dollar)- just as they always have History stands as my witness to this.

Sorry but I think you may have misunderstood class, I mean class not as in what society defines the level and means as to what we live, but the structure as to what you choose to live by, as to the meaning your birth right to choose.
I dont define class by financial means or the place that society says you belong but the way you choose to treat yourself and others, as to you're reply I actually totally agree with every word of it, and goes as far as saying any body can achieve what they want from life, as long as they are determined to achieve it.
Dave if you feel so strongly about these people why let them aggravate you so, after all they depend upon you

@LDD good question man.
I think it is because of their double standards. Especially in the US, where almost all of the labor laws that the riveters of 100 years ago fought for have been eliminated little by little. They believe they have the RIGHT to endless profit under capitalism , and so they finance the politicians campaigns who will return the favor with legislation that eliminates controls put in place to protect workers

Well, all this status and pedigree (what's dog food have to do with anything?) aside, I really like the ideas people have for their Rivet-Ars!
I am thinking a modified Cadian body with my "yet to be made" steampunk-ish arms, and gloved hands, along with the weapons I just finished and one of the skull helmets I did. He'd be a sniper of some kind. With a cloak and hood I think. It will be a while though, I still have to send all of the things I made to have them cast up.
Sounds fun though!
