If 40K was real, what chapters and/or races would be like current or factual past people.
eg.space wolves=vikings,necrons=egyptians.
However i have also been told that blood angels are like vampires, does this mean that if we had S.W v B.A we could re-enact twilight.

Tau = Japan due to their fast evolution of technology ( the japanese went from wood to Ironclad in less then 100 years) and the cast system look up the post samurai era. In that time the upper cast (the Water Cast ) were the rulers and ruled by a council over headed by the emperor (Aun'Va?). Not to mention have you SEEN a fire warrior? They are wearing samurai armor. Also I've seen Tau wearing a similar hat to the Japanese jingasa.
