Been Around the Block

Hey there,
Ruffling through my brother's army soldier bag the other day, I found a soldier that looks a little like Chuck Norris. My brother and I have a homebrew version of 40k going, he uses Halo megablocks figures with a rule-set we made up, while I use the army soldiers with modified IG rules - we've even added an all monstrous creature Bionicle faction! Anyway I reckon Chuck would make an excellent addition to my army, all I need is some rules.
I'm considering something like this:
WS: 5
BS: 5
S: 4
T: 4
W: 3
I: 5
A: 3
LD: 10
Sv: 3+ invulnerable
Wargear:
-Frag and krak grenades
-Dual pistols (Tossing up whether to use bolt pistols, a shorter range heavy bolter pistol or something stronger)
Special Rules:
-Independent Character
-Fearless (however, can choose to go to ground, or fail any morale check)
-Hit and Run
-Feel No Pain
-Counter Attack
-Fleet
-Furious Charge
-It Will Not Die
-Eternal Warrior
-Roundhouse Kick (In assault, instead of attacking normally, Chuck can choose to have only 1 attack - however it is at Strength 8, AP2. If the enemy is hit and survives, it's initiative is reduced to 1)
Too excessive? Not excessive enough? (For those that think it's a bit over-the-top, remember, he is Chuck Norris!)

Get rid of Hit and Run, chuck does not run from fights he simply attacks in the opposite direction, also he should be dual wielding plasma guns and his fearless (but still go to ground) should be changed to: Diveroll: a model may choose to go to ground during an opponents phase moving D3 in any direction but will act normally in the controlling players phase, springing to his feet

Plus any time he comes into play from the reserves all enemy units most make a moral check. If they fail they are frozen in place for 2 turns from the sheer awesomeness.

On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.
|
When attacking a super heavy in cc, the superheavy takes 3d6 destroyer hits.
Flying kick: Once A turn, chuck norris may choose one enemy unit within 24" to make a flying roundhouse kick at this uses the roundhouse kick rules from above, however this attack is made at initiative 10.
If chuck norris deep strikes into play, and lands on difficult or dangerous terrain, that piece of terrain is removed, any models in that piece of terrain run 2d6 back to their table edge.
If chuck norris receives the destroyed result in a deep strike mishap, he instead rides the flaming wreck of the transport he was into the enemy. The controlling player immediately places 3 Strength 9, AP 2 large blast templates anywhere on the table and rolls to see if it scatters. chuck norris is then placed in the middle of any of the templates after the casualties from the template has been removed.

Oh, wait, do you mean Chuck Norris the legend?
Here's my idea. Instead of him being a unit, he's instead a marker.
Place Chuck Norris anywhere on the board. On a roll of a 2+, all units within 24" take a S10 AP: 2 Hit with no cover saves allowed. Instant Death always applies no matter what.

To be realistic I'd totally use that ruleset! Unfortunately I think that would set my brother off whining about balance, and I doubt we'd ever have a battle with a large enough points limit to use him anyway.

I do like this rule though, definitely using it.
Seeing as no entirely sane person would let me use 'realistic' Chuck rules in a game, maybe we could use this rule to account for him fluff-wise:
Good Sport: Chuck Norris cannot actually be killed (or removed as a casualty). However, should Chuck lose all of his 'wounds', he leaves the battlefield as a gesture of good-will and yields a victory point to the enemy. Chuck may be a legend, but he's a good sport as well!

Chuck needs no stats or wargear. To utilise Norris, place model on the table while wearing Texas Ranger Uniform. Calmly tak ChChuck of the table and declare victory. You're opponent will disagree. Round-house kick them, take a scotch egg and a match from your pocket. Eat scotch egg, use your stubble to light said match and simply hold it there. The egg and match are for extra manliness. If you do not have stubble to light match, or you are vegitarian/vehan.and cannot eat egg, Chuck frowns upon you.

Honestly, every game needs dive rolls. It just makes them so much better. Kind of like how slender makes games better too. Could you imagine playing Halo or CoD and dying from Slender?
