I sometimes daydreamed about having my own game store. The usual idea was that it would be called something like "The Game Silo" and have a nuclear missile launch bunker kind of theme to it. Even having a light up DEFCON sign and siren to get attention for making storewide announcements. And every time someone walked in, a small speaker by the doors would say "Shall we play a game?" from Wargames.

I've been told by several store owners that having an excessively geeky store name is bad for for business and random customer to lurk around, especially if you plan on selling things outside the more "main stream" titles out there DnD, Magic, 40k.
Selling collectibles, statues, sports cards, posters, swords and shields, model kits (like some local shops in my area) perhaps something less Geeky?
However, I am a level headed rebel and don't take advice from people who may or may not know what they are talking about.
Such as the butter knife and electrical outlet incident.
