I've had a few good ones. Mainly ones with friends. Sorry guys, nothing that special.

I only remember the stupid stuff I did. Not incredibly stupid.
But I went up to a house for halloween with my mom staying at the curb, The lady was nice and such.
I walked back to my mom, When out of the ground burst a ghost.
I ran.........to the women at the house and not my mom. Why would I run through the ghost that was there?

Probably winning my original Xbox in an online competition.

Although that seems to have drained every single ounce of luck from my life.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

My first taste of geekdom. My father, working at the time as a night patrolman, would usually wake me up when he came home at 3 am or so, so that we could have a piece of toast or a cup of hot chocolate. (I was maybe six or seven.) One night, my dad came in all excited.

"Come downstairs!" he said. I went downstairs, and he had the TV on. I was exhausted, I remember, and there was some form of sci-fi movie on that I'd never seen, midway through. Onscreen, there were several people on some kind of ship hovering over some monster pit out in the desert. Some kind of aliens were making a guy walk the plank off the hover ship. As they edged him towards the end of the plank, I distinctly remember looking at my dad and rubbing my bleary eyes, irritated and sleepy.

"He better do something really cool," I said.

For those who haven't immediately placed the reference:

Spoiler:

Needless to say, he did something really flippin cool!

HEARING the world for the first time at the age of 8.
That was pretty big for me. I lived in a world of very muffled sound up until that point.

Other key memory from that time - I recognised my ENT when I was on the table - past his surgical mask and other accoutrements.

"Hey, I know you!" - before succumbing to the anaesthetic.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

So you're the guys who dug me up after I took a nap? Thanks!

EDIT: Lets see. A few of them.
-panning for gold in the Red River
-exiting a restaurant with a stray dog begging for food. Getting in the car, Dad asking if I ever wanted a dog. On my reply he steps out for a sec and gets back in with said dog. "here you go!"
-being tackled by the pack of puppies she had not long after, complete with one standing on my face and nipping my nose.
-sitting on top a gas tank riding through trails with the parents or on dad's racing bike going really really fast to feel what it was like to be him racing.
-climbing a tree at my grandmother's house and having her suddenly climb up there with me, followed by my mom.

11th birthday.

We went to Butlins, I got given Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, Prowl, Jazz, all six monster pretenders, bumblebee (found out afterwords my parents had seen a market stall with them all cheap) and a skateboard, then we went to see Michael Keatons Batman. (butlins used to show older films at the cinema there - probably because it was cheaper)

That was a seriously good day.

Its because ordinance is still a word.
However, firing ordinance at someone isn't nearly as threatening as firing ordnance at someone.
Ordinance is a local law, or bill, or other form of legislation.
Ordnance is high caliber explosives.
No 'I' in ordnance.
Don't drown the enemy in legislation, drown them in explosives.

Although my fondest memeries was watching star trek with my dad. I always loved watching it with him. I loved it as a kid teased for his intelligence. Star Trek seemed a world where the intelligent where not just needed but valued, I saw a world that i wanted to live in, where i want my future kids to live in.

I have the same problem. My brain has the nasty habit of remembering every little negative thing in my life and forgetting the good moments.

What I do remember is that, once a week, my dad would walk with my brother and I to the comic book store. He would buy us one comic each visit. My dad wasn't home often because of his job, saw him one or two days a week. Loved science fiction all my life because of those trips to the comic store.

Anime High School

I don't really know. Thinking about it, Boot Camp was probably more interesting than my entire childhood put together.

I remember watching Spirited Away and other Miyazaki films with my mother when I was like 7 or 8. I guess that's technically when I knew I was destined to be a massive anime fan for the rest of my life.
