I'm making my IG kill team and since they have to be unique I wanted to put female heads on one or two of them. Any suggestions on which heads I should use? I want them to be a GW product so 40K, WFB, FW, and LotR are all possibilities. I initially though about using SoB but they're all metal and I don't know how easy it would be to saw the head off keeping the hair and everything intact. Any suggestions?

I suggest you look beyond GWs range.

You could use the new High Elf Sisters of Averlorn heads, unfortunately they all seem to have their hair blown in the exact same way from the wind:

I have the whole Reaper Bones Kickstarter box sitting at home but I wanted to see if there was a good model in the GW range. I haven't seen one yet so I might be inclined to cut the heads off some of the females in my bones collection.

Wood elf glade guards? Dark Eldar also have differnet female heads in their boxes.

If you can stand to wait a few feeks, maybe a month, then you might consider getting a few of Vic Lambs female heads/female troopers which are currently in the works.

Brother Vinni sells 5 good female heads. Sadly 3 of them are masked, but they work well for flame troopers and so on at least.

I think the bigger question is: what are you hoping to achieve with this?

With the exaggerated scale of GW's male miniatures, putting female heads on them doesn't make them look like female troopers... just makes them look weird.

GW don't make good females with few exceptions. The old bret sorceress, the new maiden guard and that's about your lot. None of those heads would suit IG
