Subject: Alternative to Chaos Spawn

Lesser Daemon of Chaos

I'm trying to find something to run as spawn that don't look like balls of green stuff with tentacles sticking out of them. So far my idea is to kit bash some Vargheist from fantasy with spare marine parts, but are there any other alternatives? Maybe from different companies?
I should add I'm doing a chaos space wolf army so maybe something Wulfen related?

So, I'm assuming that you want spawn that look more like they fell to the Curse of the Wulfen then normal gribbly spawn?
One answer:
Forge World skinwolves.
Price wise they are still cheaper then getting the official spawn models from GW. Fluff wise, they seem to fit your goals perfectly, and look appropriately badass as well.

I just don't like the idea of placing multiple models, whether they're mutated Chaos Warriors or Chaos Marines on a base to represent a model that doesn't have an armor save. Personally, I'd like to use the Vargheist models and convert them with sentinel chainsaws, Chaos bits, and Talos bits and make some mutated tech monstrosities.

I made a bunch of mechanical robo daemons out of my bit box. Will upload photos when I get home.

Which will again be too small, and personally I think they'd look kind of ludicrous with their power armor as modeled not giving them an actual save. I think those Forgeworld wolves are the best bet.
