So I pulled out the glass cutter and found an old picture frame with the thin glass and tried a go at it....
I think I am going with real glass......
It looks incredibly clear after gluing it in with Cyanoacrylate and is easy to clean up after paint.

Wanted to build all bight but the wife is forcing me to bed because she is throwing a party tomorrow and I have to clean up the house a bit and get groceries and attend the darned thing.......
Poop, but at least it is a four day weekend for me and saturday night, day and sunday night and monday daytime will be spent hammering out the exterior of this Electro-Hawk......
I have spent so much time without glue thinking and planning the exterior that I think it will go good and go quick.......
Might have to actually spend time planning on other projects if this works out in my favor.......

as for daves bann on using lego´s in the hobby... i think i remember him talking about bionicle not being true legos in his mind set... so "vandalizing" bionicles is not that bad...
this here shows quite good how good bionicle bitz might be for creating wargame related stuff...mind you it is not mine...
