I quite like the other two mind you.

I want the Yncarne to be an absolute powerhouse in the fluff. I want it to smack down named characters by the truck-load. I want a space marine hero to come up against it with all of his mightiest plot-shields and get blasted out of existence with a blink.

We deserve it after years of seeing Avatars of Khaine getting pathetically beaten every time they show up.

That would be my main criticism also. I am categorically not a fan of the majority of cases where a sculpt tries to show something that would, in actuality, be moving, changing shape or only lasting the briefest time (think muzzle flashes, flame, smoke etc..) I get that people want to try and portray that brief second, but seldom see it sculpted to the degree where I feel it has that level of dynamism and ephemerality it really needs.

But in this instance we seem to be seeing this silhouette over and over from GW, and it is starting to feel lazy and tired, and, for me, stacked on top of it not really working in the first place.

I love these models, they all look amazing, though Ynnead will probably be a complete bitch to paint.

Looks like most of us were completely wrong on the identity of the two new characters, I like the way the Visarch incorporates elements of Dark, Craftworld and Harlequin Eldar.

Fracture of Biel-Tan sounds ominous, loosing one of the Big 5 Craftworlds has got to be an even bigger event faction wise than loosing Cadia.

Slaanesh doesn't actually have a gender, humans tend to refer to it as a He (The Dark Prince) and the Elder refer to it as a She (She Who Thirsts).

I am not overly impressed with most of the three (not an Eldar player so not missing anything), but I like the Sword of Ynnead.

The Avatar of Ynnead sort of makes Ynnead look like Slaanesh redeemed. Like what would happen if Slaanesh turned good.

Just being sarcastic, "she who thirsts" is of corse what eldar call slaanesh but in a general way no one knows is what I was getting at.

Well this looks interesting. Well done to everyone who predicted the Avatar of Ynnead; looks like I was wrong and I should never have doubted your foresight .

Looking at the spirit stones being torn up from the ground and drawn to the Avatar makes it look like its consuming them. Is that the plan? Have the Avatar of Ynnead draw all the spirit stones from the fallen Eldar to itself so they can join with it. If so it’s not looking good for Biel-Tan .

I'm just having fun with the fact that every time a new model gets released people whine as if its the end of the world because they don't like how a certain model looks. I haven't met a single person who likes every single model that Games Workshop releases, it just doesn't happen. Everyone has preferences and people don't seem to get that. I see an eldar player who cries about the death of his faction because he doesn't like a new model? Just don't buy it, its that simple.

I'm not 'fighting' anything. Is a bit of brevity against the rules or something?

"Fracture" doesn't say the end of Biel Tan to me. Something big but not simply it's destruction

Slaanesh isn't going anywhere, she'll still be there to struggle against, the Eldar just now have a hope

Maybe the fracture is political. Biel Tan is known for its warlike outlook and large numbers of Aspect Warriors; they're more devoted to Khaine than most. And then along comes a new god, perhaps in search of followers, and offers an enticing alternative route to eldar regaining power in the galaxy.

As others have said, the swirly bits bother me aswell (aside from the more than needed fantasy feeling - 40k's got fantasy aplenty, there is no need for topping the current level IMO). At this point I feel that it is just the studio bragging "Hey look we have the technology to cast this thing in plastic and put it on frames" - ok, I got it when you released the avatar of sigmar

If you mean "levity" then no, and brevity is positively encouraged I'd imagine, but rule 2 is stay in topic, and I don't see how using language like "butt hurt" and "whining" is going to do anything except incite, do you?

My take? Almost certainly Malys' body, but someone, or something, else is piloting the meat suit. Perhaps that Golden Heart thing?

Plot twist it's actually Cegorach, that's why Lady Malys is part of this triumvirate.

The being banished Malys' followers, and challenged her to a contest of wills, the victor of which would gain the heart of the loser. Amazingly, Malys had won the contest with the trickster, and the being had dissipated, leaving an animate blade and its crystal heart behind. Malys used the blade to remove her heart, and replaced it with her prize. The Harlequin Masque known as the Veiled Path is known to have indirectly arranged this meeting to create an arcane bond between Malys and Cegorach. Malys returned to Commoragh, determined to have revenge on Vect, and began her slow rise to power.

The fracture will be because Eldrad sees through the ruse.

?

No one knows Drazhar's true identity. There are no records of him in any Incubus shrines and no one had heard of him before he walked in to the Great Shrine. Even the name Drazhar is ceremonial, meaning Living Sword.

Swordsman confirmed as Drazhar?

The Lady's Blade is not a Djinn blade (thankfully, the Djinn blade is rubbish).

And I agree, it's still hard to see the Emmisary as anyone other than Malys, the model fits her description to a T.

The guy with the sword looks OK, not a fan of the other two. Interested to see where the story goes.

Don’t care enough to pick them up. Fo one thing, I doubt I’d be able to work them into my list. Bunch of guys on foot. I play Saim-Hann. Getting mud on your boots is for lesser species.

I somehow doubt it would be worth it, or even possible, to cram them into a Wave Serpent. The cat especially. You know he’d claw the crap out of anyone trying to put him in the box.

I'm not a big fan of either of the three model's.

Yncarne has too much swirly stuff. Some swirly "plastic effects" are OK on a model, but this is way over the limit.
Heavy Slaanesh theme as well, but that's most likely intended. (Ynnead is supposed to defeat Slaanesh in the fluff iirc.)

Lady Malys...I mean Yvraine is OK, except for those stupid spikes on her head.

The Visarch is a decent model, but nothing that blows my mind. It looks like a beefy Dark Eldar Archon.
