Im making a slaanesh and tzeentch army and here is my idea so far

Fate weaver,
Daemon prince of T, lvl3, 3+ armour , and daemonic flight, 2 greater rewards and 1 lesser.

20 daemonettes, exalted alluress with a greater reward
20 daemonettes, exalted alluress with a greater reward
This list gives 15 points left, which i could use as i see fit

For exactly 1000 points i would drop 1 unit of daemonettes and take a unit of 20 horrors with no upgrades.
But im sure i could easily drop both units down to 16 men in each to get a herald of tzeentch lvl2 in the horrors.

Any feedback will be very helpful.

Looks pretty close to my 750 daemons, just different foot units, expensive upgrades, and a LoC. there's not much to say about daemons at this points level.

I think for 1000pts you have too much invested in 2 models.

If your opponent has any decent anti-air you will likely lose.

Save fate-weaver for larger pts games and maybe drop some upgrades from the DP, personally I would probably drop the lesser and 1 mastery level.

Dark Eldar- 1500pts Completed
Grey Knights- 1500pts 1 Guy done
Chaos Daemons- Approx 5000pts
Slaanesh Daemons- 1500pts, in progress
Khorne Daemons- 1500pts, in progress
Death Korps of Krieg- Plans being formulated.
---------------------------------------------------
High Elves- Approx 2000pts
Vampire Counts- Raising the dead once more

I don't normally have much problem in the anti air department, my usual opponents are dark eldar or nids. They are used to normally just giving up on air fighting, due to my tau, barracuda and remoras. The most i will ever get in the air is a hive tyrant/ harpy or a razor wing. And the idea of the list is to have as many big guys as i can in the air.

Tzeentch DPs need the mandatory lesser for the staff for +2 str, so they swing away with str8 AP2...

Yeah i was thinking slaanesh dp with the whip, but figure its best as an anti flyer weapon and im sure id prefer the biomancy witchfires.
Plus the tzeentch helps for his powers.

Full bio is fine, and if they are kinda hordy, you could always drop one into change for the primaris. It does a good job at cleaning up a large number of mid-light infantry like fire warriors, necron warriors, orcs, and nids.

Yeah its all just situational, based on the rewards i get and what im against, and ofc what the fate weaver gets.

if facing loads of flyers, grab flickering fire for the flying DPs, then vektor strike to behind the enemy flyer and shoot it in the rear... Dropped a helldrake like that yesterday with just one DP of tzeentch

Automatically Appended Next Post:
btw, i really recomend doing a spreadsheet for your army, where you can tac out the powers each your DP, herald and fateweaver roll as this speeds up the start of the game and also the game turn as you can see all the powers quickly from one piece of paper. My tournament army has two DPs, kairos and three Tzeralds, so there is so much to keep track off otherwise

Yeah i love to do that with my tau remoras, fly passed them then send the missiles backwards to them.
And yes i was thinking of doing something along those lines to keep track of what guy has what, but a spreadsheet seems abit formal for me, im sure i can figure some rough way of keeping track on my ipad.

I had a game a couple of weeks ago where my opponent got all three of his Helldrakes in turn 2. He tried to Vector Strike Fateweaver with his Grimoire-boosted 2++ and did nothing, but managed to take out my PortalGlyph with one of the drakes. On my turn, between Fateweaver and two Princes, I managed to take out all three of his drakes with Flickering Fire, and even managed to use Puppet Master on one of them to toast a squad of bunched up Marines that I had dismounted from a Rhino.

Can puppet master be used on vehicles? Don't have the BRB with me.

Yes, the rules mention only target models and units, it makes no distinction between vehicle and non-vehicle.
