Hello all,

Working out a diorama for the Forgeworld Phantom Titan. The story goes that the World Eaters are invading an Imperial world, as the Khorne Lord of Skulls smashes through the IG trench lines a Pulsar shot blew through the right arm of the Chaos infernal machine. A giant robotic leg crushes the Lord of Skulls and behold the Phantom Titan, posing majestically atop the wrecked of the Lord of Skulls.

Eldar saves the day!

That is totally EPIC!!!!

Also, never realized how tall that thing is. Way cool, love to see it painted up!

The base is almost done. Just need to add snow on it.

Question: I am looking to create transparent water effects. Do I need to use clear resin for this? Any brand that you can recommend to me?









Next up the infantry.

I would put cracks on the wall to show that it was impacted/Bearing wight.

Wow the base alone is pretty amazing. I think with the Eldar Phantom just puts it over the top. The base is already painted very nicely. Can't wait to see it all painted.

As for the water effects you could do realistic water effects. I normally use Envirotex lite for my water effects.

That's ausomely amazingly freakinly sweetly cool. Buetifull.

As for water effects... I use wood land scenics.

That's one expensive base, but it looks amazing.

Thanks for all the help regarding clear resin choices. I picked up Easy Cast at the local art shop and voila! Instant water effects.

The leaking blood was done using a peice of transparent plastic from a water bottle. Basically I cut a long thin flat plastic piece and slowly work my way with clear resin to shape the leak.

Poor Lord of Skulls. I love that model :( Also, a very expensive base! Anyway, its a well done conversion, and if you can afford Forge world's prices, you can afford an extra chunk out of your wallet for the lord of skulls I guess! Love the 'mini-dioramias' within it, with the bezerkers and eldar

This might sound weird, but the fluid pouring out of the bullet hole is for me, what totally makes that base. Yea, you spent some cash on a Lord of Skulls and smashed it up, that just takes money, but going that extra mile on the details is just ace. Ill be watching this for sure.

That is really something, I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the titan! The base on it's own deserves to be a diorama!

That is one big fella there. I think the base is great. Wonderful way to show the shear power of the Phantom, crushing what might normally be one of the larger models in the game like a bug.

wow!! that thing is absolutely huge. I mean, its like 3 feet tall huge! I hate the khorne lord of skulls kit, so i kinda love seeing this thing get stomped on and smashed like its a piece of junkyard scrap

I am in awe, I didn't know the Titans where that big. Having a customers picture comparing the size of the 28mm figure next to the titan foot is wow.

MrChaos can you make the photos a bit smaller? They're coming up with the icons that you get when they don't load; are they too big?

The base looks really great. Good job on the water effects.

Personally I think the titans pose looks a bit weird. The titan is crouching its' back and shooting awkwardly past its' leg.

I would shift the titan head looking to the left (from cameras view in the first photo) and raise the other arm into more ready position.

Looks amazing. The only good Lord of Skulls is a destroyed one. Are you planning on entering it into a competition?
