I'm still in high school so I can't really take part in this but I was just wondering about everyone else

It is part of my NHS clinical scientist training course - I do have a place; they actually moved faster than the NHS (no surprise there - I am still waiting for my NHS contract to come through and I am supposed to start in 2 weeks ).

You say lucky, but it will be a 2-3 hour bus ride down every day

It is over 3 years, with rotations split between a couple of hospitals and the university. I am sure when you are down there we could find somewhere to game - I think I owe you one for soundly kicking my CSM at one of the Platinum Devils (?)

I went to the University of Westminster which sounds allot more grand than it actually was.

I also a few years ago built the latest parts of the Kings building at Kings College London, so think of me when you're sitting in the nice canteen eating your subsidised meals looking at the skirt that hangs out there.

I spent a year at the University of Plymouth in 1998

Spent a year and a half at USyd (Sydney Uni) doing Sociology - but after learning that the only cool thing at that uni was an email address at the Library ( @LUSyd) and deciding that this wasn't for me, I dumped it and got a job.

Over here, we have HECS (Hex.). Aptly named, it's the curse you get for going. It will dog you for years until (if you ever do) pay it off.

I got a job in the software and environmental health and safety world.

As long as people need to use dangerous chemicals and governments wish to regulate them, I have a job!

Currently going to Bath Spa which is fairly good unless you want to do science... then it isn't so good.

I attended the Illinois Institute of Technology, notable for being on the Princeton college review's top-ten least happy campuses for 20 years running!

On the other hand, we're also one of the best when it comes to actually getting a well-paying job after graduation.

I got my BA from Case Western Reserve University, which is neither a military school nor a fine wine, but rather the result of two schools merging. Despite being mostly unknown outside of Ohio and academia, it's an elite research university. My major was philosophy with a minor in mathematics.

I earned my JD from Cleveland Marshall School of Law at Cleveland State University, which is an utterly generic law school at an utterly generic urban commuter college.

My alma maters:

I took a break in the middle to work for a few years. The first 2 degrees were at public schools and cost very little- I had them all paid off by the time I left teaching. The second 2 degrees put me half a million in debt.

The Wife went to RPI for architecture, so I've not only heard of it, but been to the campus a number of times. Now you just need 5 more people to chime in...
