Opening this out to others.

Myself and another Dakka user (Pilau Rice) have semi-regular games at my place, using my table and geek room (although this has been on hiatus recently due to a new baby). I am looking to start back up again and am offering an open invite to anyone in the local area that wants to turn up for a game or what have you. Looking to do this on a Sunday, probably a couple of times a month (the wife gets bitey if I have too much time to myself!).

Not just 40K - I have many, many systems and terrain to go with it so ideally, I would like to play a variety of games, maybe a different games every time. I am a beginner at all so don't worry if you don't know how to play something - neither do I!

I have plenty of armies and what-not to go around so don't worry if you don't have a force for a particular system - chances are, I have it.

I'm just north of Oxford, so depending on where abouts you are it shouldn't take too long to get to you (or meet somewhere in the middle if there is a group of people ).

Been out of 40k for a while but I have armies up to 2-3000 points. Also have some infinity models and the rulebooks - never played but if you would be up for a game?

Also looking to get back into RPG's and have put the feelers out with some friends in Oxford and got a reasonably positive response - if you are interested we would probably be meeting up in Oxford somewhere on a not particularly regular basis for a very non-serious (my wife says she wants to play puss-in boots and my brother-in-law's new flatmate says he wants to be a mathematician for example ) Pathfinder game.

Very interested in Infinity but it is the one system I don't have minis or terrain for! But I am always up for something new (but it invariably ends up in me buying something and incurring spousal wrath!)

I have some terrain for Infinity (and really if you have a few boxes and stuff to block LOS we could probably make a table up quickly enough) and enough models we could split into two smaller forces (I think I have about ~14 models) - we could easily use proxies though if that would be easier.

Certainly playing a smaller game with only 2-3 models a side with no special rules would probably be a better idea to start with anyway as I've never played before and don't really know the rules other than from watching the intro videos

I have to say that I've always wanted to give BFG a go...

Funnily enough I've just moved to Oxford, and have quite a few Infinity miinis (ALEPH, ISS and Ariadna)! I'd be happy to meet up and teach anyone and everyone who was interested. Terrain isn't a problem (other than you need Lots of it!) Books and things work out perfectly for intro games as there is no ambiguity over cover (a la GW pieces)

Like Silver I have been trying to find fellow gamers but it seems to be board-game dominated in Oxford at present. I'm also interested in BFG too

Wouldn't mind playing some Infinity then. I have two decent size Imperial and Chaos fleets for BFG as well as terrain so no probs there.

I've still only got 40k Filbert but I would definitely be up for BFG or Epic
