What do you think the possibility is of carving the marine out of the inside of the Centurion and Kramming in an Ork?
I've been thinking those new suits would make for some bitch'n mega armor; enough where it makes me want to run an mega armor based ork army.

I think its a good idea and you should go for it. I think it was one of the first jokes that got posted when the first pics of the centurions were revealed. a simple head swap and et voila

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Not that much carving required. Just the head and legs. Though the legs might be a bit difficult. If you ork it up enough it would look pretty sweet. I saw one converted into an oblit and it was amazing. Though you might want to put it on a 40mm base instead of the 50mm supplied.

GW - If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.

Looks like Anung Un Rama is ahead of the curve on you! Pretty straightforward conversion though, I'm seeing these things get chopped up into all sorts of niftiness!

Most 'orks in space marine armour' look wrong, because Orks tend towards a hunched-over knees-bent posture. But as the above pics show, the Centurion leg armour 'shell' makes that pretty easy to disguise with a bit of greenstuff.

The only downside of this conversion is it may be a bit pointless/expensive if GW give us cool plastic meganobs with the new codex - unless you just want a bit of variety amongst your maxed out meganob units

Any rumor on why that new book might be arriving?

Remember where you saw that Oblit conversion? I'm making a less warp-touched csm warband and thought about using them to make Obliterators and maybe Mutilators, but I'd like to see how someone else did it.
