Not counting stickies, I count 15 crowd-funding threads, and 33 that aren't. That's a fair way from 'over 50%....
There is certainly enough interest in kickstarter threads to merit it's own section, and it may make things easier for both the people who are only interested in rumors or only interested in KS to have a separate place to go for threads.
Sorry, but this shows a fundamentally odd outlook on just what all those Kickstarter threads are actually for.
By and large, they have two things in common: They're wargaming related, and they're on Kickstarter. The actual range of different projects though would make shunting them all off into their own subsection just downright weird.
A miniature gaming related Kickstarter is no less newsworthy than any other pre-release miniature wargaming related news.
