Hello Dakka...

Im thinking about space marines here, and need a helmet who somewhat remember a insect like face (a wasp, to be more precise).

I will try to sculpt it, but wanted to know if there was not yeat usable. It is ok if the helmet look a bit femalish.

If my post show some BAD spelling issues, please forgive-me, english is not my natural language, and i never received formal education on it...

This is the only insect like head that I can think of that is to the SM scale, it's from the chaos space marine possessed sprue and you could probably pick them up dirt cheap on good ole ebay, hope this helps

Slaanesh: "Hey guys we're back! We brought presents. And yes, they ARE sexually suggestive"
Tzeentch: "So did we miss anything while we were away"
Khorne and Nurgle trade a shifty glance
Tzeentch: "Hey! Whos been touching my stuff! Where did my Old World go?!"
Khorne and Nurgle wander off whistling.

Maybe a bit too techy looking for 40K though.

The puppetswar ones could work with a sm army that has strong ties to the mechanicus.

If it's just a one-off, you could clip the head off of one of these guys.

Wow, I wish I had found these guys when I was doing my vespid!

On that note - to the OP, I would avoid the tau vespid heads - they are way too fragile to work with.

Best of luck!
