it felt like everything rainbow Dash learned over the past couple years made her strong character in the Academy. Lighting Dust was what could have been Rainbow Dash had it not been for lessons she learned from and with her friends.

Anyone seen the latest episode yet? I liked how we got to see baby Applejack in a flashback and Babs Seed returned as a goodie, but the song at the end definitely isn't my favourite the show has produced.

The song is catchy, but a little repetitive.
Apparently Dash still gets to hang around Ponyville despite the Wonderbolts training.
I need to watch it again, because apparently there are a pair of shooting stars in one scene. They were thrown in by Sibsey, one of the animators, as a reference to AJ's deceased parents,since Hasbro won't let them actually talk about it in the show.

This was actually one of the few episodes I haven't bothered to watch all the way through. I'll probably watch a commentary instead. But it was one of the incredibly cliche'd stories that are like watching a slow-motion trainwreck that you just can't stop.

While I was working on the 103rd and 104th floor of the Stratosphere, I'd noticed the rooms up there were heavily decorated with confetti, streamers, party favors, tables and poles with candy and giant lollipops and the like, cotton candy, and balloons. Oh god balloons everywhere.
And all I could think, was that Pinkie Pie had just exploded up there.
