it depends, some retailers have the AoW special offers on their first shipments. However I think for that particular swap it's direct only. Still 30 for 35E is a good deal, and they HAVE shipped the last few plastic releases on time.

Hm, so it'll cost 7 quid more than getting it from Troll Trader at retail anyway, with the price difference and shipping taken into account.

I have now ordered all new Dark Elves (directly for AoW as usual) - despite most of the sculpts looking extremely ugly and disproportioned compared with the new GW witches.
Hopefully some of the new Dark Elves will prove to be up to AoW old standards.

Also looking forward to the upcoming Raging Heroes ones.

Any more word on the dwarf BSB?

The BSB has been completed (and was previewed) some weeks ago. But no, no word yet on when he'll be shipped.

He is probably in the middle of getting casted up.

By a team of actual dwarves. Finding enough of them who are familiar with metal and resin casting has really added to the completion time of this project.

casting up 300ish of those buggers will just take some time - that banner was to be done in resin (and multiple parts too, I believe?) which isn't something you do 300+ units of in an afternoon. Also, AoW has never really been all that great at quick production (or priorities...) so I really don't see why this would surprise anyone.

So when was it finished, anyway?

AoW has also been busy packaging and sending out the Corruptors with great weapons sets to the people who pre-ordered them along with to a few stockists. The Corruptors with shields are also next in line to being sent out right after the great weapon sets are finished, so if AoW are smart they will hopefully use the upcoming spare time to cast and send out the standard bearers before the Vestals are due to arrive in April. (Although with the usual AoW delays we should expect the Vestals to be anywhere from 1-6 months late...)

There was no info about the model being cast yet or being shipped out, but others claim they have, I'd say that's worthy of posting?

Kroot, you realize your posts are perpetuating the problem, right? If there's no news, let the thread slide down the page... however, if people want to discuss contacting AoW about when this is supposed to ship / etc since it has been sculpted for some time now, that's fair game, imo.

I ordered a ready modell in November shipment was in december and I recieved it janurary so al in all three month. Take from that what you want.

This is probably not the news you guys want, but i received shipping notices last night from both AoW and the Troll Trader for the 2 sets of corruptors that I pre-ordered. (I had to resort to purchasing the Corruptors with shields set from the Troll Trader, due to AoW not bothering to reply to my message about adding them to my existing pre-order...)

Does anyone happen to have an AoW forum account? a few users have recently brought up the silence surrounding the standard bearer on their forums but Felix has been pretty tight lipped so far. I figure if enough people keep asking about the model it might motivate Felix to actually say something about its current status...

I skimmed the forums and it appears that he's been shipping out the Standard Bearers a few per day, but there's like 300 of them he needs to do.
