Scibor just did it... It's a really Amazing take on the Centurion theme to make it look less goofy and more epic...

The arms look unfinished compared to the rest of the model. The legs and torso both feature their trademark bling, but the arms are kept bare and look very much out of place with the rest of the model, as if it's a poorly done kitbash of a terminator with Gundam arms.

Love everything but the arms. it's like centurion legs all over XD Scibor does make amazing minis. The pricing suggests theyre made from cocaine or smth.

Just when I thought the Centurion was the ugliest model ever released Scibor releases this abomination.

It looks like something from an AdMech army though so I guess it could work for that otherwise it just looks odd like someone gave up halfway through the arms and legs were modeled

The arms make me think of something out of finding nemo, the rest of the models quite nice however.

That sound you heard was the pilot's shins and thighs being snapped because the joints aren't aligned.

I own some scibor stuff, but in this case I prefer the GW model.

Interesting model, but I too do not like the arms. They look so flat. As a 1/72 historical modeler, I know flat.

The sculpting is alright, but the mold must be very rectangular, and have a poor release, because the arms look like fins.

The rest of the model is good though.

Less goofy? The arms and the head area are pretty for weak for 25 euros a pop.

I am glad I am not the only one who was thinking this sentiment. Also, that sound a head makes when it's bare flesh is hit with a high caliber round.

The diagram in the background has the arms level with the shoulders, but the actual figure...

I think this is ugly. Personal taste, it's worse than GW's attempt.

I really do not like either the GW Centurion or this.

As others have said - it could be saved by having better arms, but even with better arms I would not want to be the poor mook wearing it into battle. All to easy seeing it lying on its back, flailing. (Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!')

Given a choice between this and the GW version... ... ... I'm keeping my money in my pocket. :(

Which is a danged shame - most of the Scibor sculpts blow GW out of the water, then shoot it twice more as it comes back down.

Scibor makes gorgeous stuff, and I own quite a lot of his miniatures, but this one doesn't look good at all imo.

It seems like the whole concept of a Centurion is cursed with unattractive physical manifestations LOL.

There is not a single element of that model that I like the look of. The weird hood thing, the mushroom-looking smokestacks, the chunky legs and wonky arms along with that filigree on the chest plate come together to make a model that makes no sense visually. With the alternative Centurions from Puppetswar, I don't know why anyone would get these. They look like something Hi-Tech would put out, and I don't mean that in a positive way.

I'd like to know, just out of curiosity, how many parts this comes in. Scibor casts their stuff as largely solid parts with usually just the arms detached. Looking at the photo, it seems like this is a VERY static pose, so fielding a trio of them would be so blah.

Not bad, but as said previously the arms look out of place/bad/unfinished.

While it has some good elements, the tall hood of armor, most of the model falls flat.

The arms look like they belong on a Rock'em Sock'em Robot set.

As someone who rather likes this model i think it would look great with other scibor models. Scibor isnt really the kind of style you can chuck in with GW models. The scale is all different (scibor are huge) and so on. So if you do a scibor marine army then it will certainly fit in. Well i think it will.

Much better than the GW version, IMO.

My assumption is that the pilot is sitting inside it, arms crossed over his chest, rather than having his limbs inside its limbs.

I don't see "Centurion" when I see that. I see another take on the Magos Dominus model, from Forgeworld's Mechanum army for 30k.

It's inferior to that scuplt, but still kind of cool. It's not up to Scibor's usual skill, though. I had been planning on picking up some of their cool bikers to run as Dark Angel Ravenwing HQ conversions.
