So heres a conversion that I did awhile ago, but just now decided to throw up here. While the Dreadknight model is pretty hard to pose without a major chop job, I think it turned out pretty well.

As for the paintjob, I'm still pretty meh about it. I think the green turned out pretty well, even though the highlights don't seem to be showing up all that well. As for the wash, well I kinda messed that part up, it turned out too blotchy and uneven.

I miss the good old days when a man would build a skyscraper with his bare hands just so you would stop hitting him with a shovel.

I dig the huge scythe! Even Typhus would be in awe, next step up would be a reaver titan with a scythe

As for a tip since you dont feel too keen on the paint job I would hit all the silver you have with a heavy wash of Nuln Oil, or Agrax Earthshade since he is nurgle. This will darken the metals and give them some depth. You could then put some highlights back on the raised parts with your original color but even just the wash would improve it some. The metals look too clean for an evil nurgle death machine!

What are you using it as by the way? A helbrute?

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil,

'The Light at the End of the Tunnel' has been turned off.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Yeah thanks, I was even thinking about adding some of the new technical paints as well. And when I use him, I use him as a maulerfiend... except that I have never had maulerfiends do anything except blow up turn 1. So even though I like him, he never sees that table.

At first I didn't like it, but upon closer inspection, the paint job is much more detailed than it first looked on my screen.

Kudos for not going browngreenrustblob like 98% of Nurgle models. This definitely stands out! Great centerpiece for an army. Do the rest of your Nurgley things have the same green as the primary color?

It's a nice conversion, and technically well painted, but the green is too damn bright. Could do with a wash and some weathering.
