Im trying to build a ally force for my khorne daemons, i wanna go with zhufor as my hq, what else should i look at? I wanna actually slowly grow it into a world eaters army by to run on there own but gonna start by making a ally for for ny daemons so i can get a feel for them

I would take your HQ, a large (15ish) squad of Berzerkers, and a Heldrake with Baleflamer. There is no army that isn't better with a Heldrake.

I would go into specifics with point costs but I am not familiar with the rules for Zhufor at all.

As I said, I do not know that character's rules. A squad of Chaos Space Marines would work well.

When you are creating an allied detachment, you need to ask yourself a question: What do you want the allies to do for your army that your existing army cannot do alone?

Who is Zhufor? I'm very familiar with the CSM Codex and he is not in there anywhere.

I'm almost certain he's a Forge World character.

I see. JJ can you share his rules and abilities?

If you like the model than use him as a standard chaos lord with mark of khorne in terminator armor with the Axe of Blind Fury. Looking at the rules for Zhufor he is average and a standard lord from the Codex would also make berzerkers troops.

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil,

'The Light at the End of the Tunnel' has been turned off.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

I dont have the csm codex yet but i thought zhufor was pretty darn good for his cost, plus is pry the best model ive seen besides belakor (who i also run) was kinda goin for a fluffy yet competetive army

Ick. A T3 HQ that costs 175 points? I'm not a fan. True hes got arty armor and a storm shield, but hes got no offensive abilities really, or tactical ones. Yeah, the model looks great, but he just doesn't seem to offer anything.

The problem with world eaters is that there is only one way to get them into CC....land raiders. with only 500 points, this is hard to do.

Take a cheapo chaos lord, a land raider, and 9 zerkers. Remember, the codex says that the HQs only unlock elites in your PRIMARY DETACHMENT as troops. If you take them as allies, the zerkers will not be able to cap points.

Scroll down the page, that is a different HQ. He is T4 like most marines.

The rules for zhufor's chainaxe say that "in any Assault phase in which Zhufor chooses to attack with the Skulltaker chainaxe he gains +2 Attacks for that phase". Doesn't that mean you can make one attack w the chainaxe and then take the other 5 (remaining 3 +2 from the axe) w his Sx2 AP2 claw? If so, not bad. Not bad at all

So where are the troops then...?

Oh my god this guy is great! Getting a victory point for every dual is AMAZING...I'd take him if I was running a main detachment, but as allies, he is too pricey. He needs a decked out terminator squad to go with him, and a land raider, and thats just too many points for 500 pts
