For several decades the Kossack battlesuit has served Federation forces well, in both open wars and counter-insurgency. Here we see two Cossack suits from the 12th Guards Airborne conducting search and destroy missions on Laguna Beta. Both field temperate digi-camo, unsuited for the arid conditions of Laguna Beta but due to their rapid transfer to the planet from operations on the 'Eden' class planet of Laguna Prime, the crews had little time to prepare.

Both carry standard pattern armour shielding, though Red 4 can be discerned as an earlier MK13 model suit by the dark green articulation fabric, though its optics and sensors have been updated to MK14 standard, common practice among units such as the 12th GA. Both are armed with the свет Laser, a weapon useful against personnel and light vehicle targets, both have their right arms with a hand fitting, as befits their intended role. Red 4 and Red 5 would see extensive combat during the pacification operation. Red 5 would later be destroyed during the fighting at Refinery 671, when hit by a Lagunan sniper using a 14mm Enfield Arms Anti-Material Rifle.

Red 4 continues in service, proving that 13 is only unlucky for some...

Nice stuff, I particularly like the weathering, not too overstated or overdone, just right IMO.

Very nice! Agree that the paint job is just right on them - was the camo achieved with masking tape?

Also, can I ask what miniature range they are from?

Laguna war? Is that a reference to Great Space Battle by any chance?

I'll second that. It gives them a wonderful sense of scale and realsim.

Wow, awesome models, i just love these mecha looks, they really remind me to Tachikoma's from GitS. Sorry to delay the comment about the awesome paintjob, that had to come out first, great job

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Not a fan of the confetti camo but the sponge weathering is nice!

Are these the 1/35th scale SF3d figures? If so, how do they scale to say, a Tau crisis suit?

They look great, and the camo is very well done.
