I'm in need of about ten Servitors that I plan to magnetize to swap between a heavy bolter or multi-melta.

Are there any model alternatives to the GW ones? I've seen what Forgeworld has but I'd like to keep the cost down.

Cheap option is Cadians or Catchans with a head swap (I used these: http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=77_66&product_id=182) and a heavy weapon fitted instead of one of the arms, the rest you can do with the paint job. I made about 30 this way.

Here you go. I am gonna get some of them eventually but i can't call them cheap. They come with all weapons and I really like the idea of a servitor on tracks..

Got milk?

All I can say about painting is that VMC tastes much better than VMA... especially black...

PM me if you are interested in Commission work.

Besides the forgeworld ones (which i think would make the best servitors)

Anvil industries has these

Though the heads arnt too my liking. But they also have bionic arms that would work great as servitor arms.

These look great! Same concept as hightechminiatures but fully robotic and cheaper ofcourse! If only they had plasma guns it would be perfect .

A cheap option is to use the bare chested chaos cultists from the DV set, and replace their limbs with whatever you like. Their backs are covered in cybernetic plugs and it's easy enough to paint their bugged-out eye as a cyber-eye. Also, the scarred chaos symbol on their shoulder makes good cyber-surgery scarring if you cut off the limb and replace it with a gun.

Of course you don't have to settle for one idea or the other; the Imperium is vast and it is unlikely servitors (or anything) would be standardised throughout.

Bad camera picture but here's some quick cultist servitors I put together.

Base model, some respirators from the cadian command box, and assorted guns and robo-bits.

It comes in the 10 man Chaos Space Marine box. You should be able to find it pretty easy, since no one uses their heavy bolters. You might want to use the version from the Loyalist box though, as this one does have chaos arrows and spikey trim.
