Running on Indiegogo as a flexible campaign (BUT note the figure is already sculpted and 50 casts are ready to ship so the normal worries about flexible funding don't seem to apply)

I've been sculpting miniatures for a few years, from Rackham where i learned the job to my commission for companies like studio mc Vey or Kingdom Death nowadays.

I have a lot of ideas i'd like to release by myself, and the succes of minis like Y'Sala and Darkness, that i designed completely, is very encouraging.

So i gave my best at this first character, from the first drawing to the last detail, and i make a try on indiegogo to see how many people would be interrested in such work.

If the project is funded, i'll be able to sculpt more characters in this universe, i already have a dozen drawings ready.

ADVENTURER

The deal is the simplest possible : you pre-order the mini, and get it as soon as it is produced. A first run has been done, so i have 50 copies in stock. So the 50 first contributors will get their own copy very fast.

The mini by itself is a creature hunter ( "exterminateur de vilaines bĂȘtes", a charge that really existed under Louis the XIVth) in a fantasy rennaissance, and i wanted to give him self confidance, skill and elegance. It is 33mm scaled.

Orlando, perhaps you could correct the thread title: Laurent Leleu is the name of the figure, not the sculptor (which is the inestimable Yannick Hennebo*).

It's very nice, and it includes worldwide shipping with the price. Very tempting...

*For fans of McVey, Hennebo is the sculptor of a large number of their best miniatures. Interesting that he would be doing such a fine miniature on his own.

Oops what a mistake-a to make-a as Mario might say,

consider the title changed and my head hung in shame for not reading stuff more closely (I was busy and stuff and things)

Seems like it could be a wonderful Inquisitor for 40k games. Is the 33mm height going to be a problem? I really am crap when it comes to visualizing scaling in my head.

What pose is that, exactly?

The pose is definitely off. I get what he was trying to do, but it didn't work. And roughly $25 for a single guy in a slightly weird pose is more than I'm willing to pay.

Several people have reported their mini has arrived already

the advantage of a flexible campaign where most of the work is already done (he had 50 of the mini pre-cast)

the project creator can basically send stuff as soon as you pledge

What an absolutely beautiful sculpted figure. The level of detail is eye-watering.

The guy can certainly sculpt, type his name into Google and there is a plethora of great miniatures.
