Yeah, I have to agree. These look beautiful, but it's not really a report if you don't tell us anything about what happened...

chris13f, a couple of things.

First very nice models.

Second battle reports need more than just pictures.
- What was your army list, what was your opponents army list?
- What happened each turn?
- What was learned?
- What would you have done differently?
- Who won?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

If you're just going to post pictures and not give an actual battle report, it might be more appropriate to post your "reports" in a gallery instead.

Incredible conversions. I would love to see another fleshed out report with these armies especially the exodites.

There's nothing wrong with how this BP was structured. If you don't like it don't read it. The OP is breaking no rules. I love the models and appreciate the focus on the models on the table.

@thejughead, but as cool as the pictures are (and I love the exodites army, dinos for the win) a battle report should have a narrative to guide us so the pictures make sense, otherwise they are just pretty pictures but with no context.

Blood is best stirred before battle, and nothing does that better than the bagpipes.

There's nothing wrong with the post. He presented a link if anyone was interested. It might not be what you want as a battle report but I think its perfectly fine. All models painted and nice terrain. Beats some of the grey colored-net list - proxy prone posts I ve seen in the past.

If I criticised the lack of info it's just because those DAMN SEXY models made me want to know more!

Seriously awesome exodites and I would kill to see more pics of what those chaos thunderwolfs were...guessing juggers??

For me the picture format is a cool way to show a battle and I will be following your blog after reading two cool things (Taros stuff-awesome)

jughead, the link is just the same pictures (maybe more?) but still no actual info on the battle report.

I personally am hoping he posted the pics and had to move on to something else and plans to flesh it out later with the actual report.
