I could have been meaner. And if it is any condolences, you aren't the only one to be at the end of those kind of jokes.


*Santiago smiles*

Santi: The same goes for you. I haven't felt this great in... a long time.

*Santiago sits up and reaches for clothing*

Cal: Yes, but you are no-where near as Avian as I was. *Shrugs* Well you wouldn't hear those kind of jokes from us.

*Cal is bored looking through thousands of shirts*

*Cal picks out a number of slacks and goes to the fitting rooms
A bored Harpy is sitting at the desk*

*Cal does as he's told and goes to try on the pants*

*Jordan smiles, then yawns*

J: If you don't hurry, I might fall asleep. Then you'll have to wait another year.

*Smiles and poke out tongue*

*shrugs*

It'll be cold, but you like that. I would wear more, just in case. You can always tie it around your waist, worst case scenario.

*grabs his shotgun and racks it*

Just in case. This is an old ship.

*Nods and grabs bra*

*Puts it on and tilts head at pants*

They are holey.

*Finishes undressing and lays down with Jordan*


*Cal comes out, returns 6 pairs of slacks and goes back to get more mediums*

*Jordan yawns again before turning over to face Billy*

*Billy kisses Jordan*

*Cal grabs a number of long-sleeved t-shirts and goes to check out*

*frowns*

They still are better than nothing.

*pokes his head out of the Longsword before facing Joalia*

*Takes Santiago's arm and weakly lifts tail*

J: You play 'innocent' so well...

Billy: All my life, why d'you I'm still alive? So many people think that just because I act innocent I'm harmless, that couldn't be further from the truth!

*Cal is waiting in line behind a Salamander Space Marine holding a stuffed Unicorn and a Cyclops trying to buy a teleportation device without a license*

*smiles and kisses Joalia before leading her out of the Longsword*

*Smiles at the kiss and follows*

*Jordan rolls her eyes again*

J: Well come on then, 'Mr. Innocent and harmless'! Surprise me!

*Billy grins*
Billy: Okay, you asked for it.
*Screen fades to black*

*Cal sighs as the Cyclops starts getting riled up and yelling at the terrified Harpy cashier*

*leads Joalia through several turns and hallways*

(Not much further now. I'm just worried about how we will bring it all home.)

*Looking into darkened corridors, and staying close to Santiago in general*

(Oh, and the 'rations' tasted nice.)

*The Salamander doesn't react as the Cyclops swings at the Harpy but misses due to his lack of depth perception. The female Harpy screams and ducks at Cal steps forward*
Cal: Hey! Calm down!
Cyclops: BACK OFF PIPSQUEAK!
*Swings at Cal and lands a glancing blow that sends Cal flying back into the little section of candy bars and magazines in the checkout aisle*

*keeps scanning the hallways and stops in front of a pair of doors*

(All sorts of stuff. And I like them too, especially because they don't need preperation.)

*raises shotgun slightly and rests his shoulder against the door*

(It's open. Are you ready?)

*Reaches towards Santiago's holster and removes his M6*

(Ready when you are.)

*Seems slightly confused with how it works, but holds it out pointing at the door regardless*

*The Cyclops starts trying to get at the terrified screaming Harpy. Cal gets up, grabs a candy bar and throws it in the Cyclops's eye*
Cyclops: OWWW! HEY!
*Turns to Cal as the Salamander sighs exasperatedly and goes to find another open checkout aisle. Cal stands unsteady and bruised*
Cal: You leave her alone!
*The Cyclops growls and grabs Cal around the throat before lifting him off the ground*
Cyclops: Why don't you make me big man!

*points to several parts of the M6 and explains them mentally*

(Ok, door opening in 3, 2...)

*pushes the door open and quickly steps inside with his shotgun raised*
*room has various UNSC vehicles parked in it*
