We're practically halfway through this year of our Emperor!

Summer is upon us. Any big projects coming up? Paintin' up them Knights or Gork/mork-a-thingamajigs?

My plans this month are to finish the rest of my 2k army I had started. Just need to do a 16 Crusaders, 1 Emp Champ, Land Speeder Storm, Dreadnought, and (my first) Stormraven.

Well here are the main things I want to tackle this month:

1. Finish up my Underhive scum from Nercomunda for a competition on Yaktribe gaming
2. Attempt to at least finish my Menoth collection (Minimum 25 points at least.
3. Paint at least up to 15 to 25 points for Mercenaries.
4. Get a start on my Chaos Space Marine Lord and Chosen from the Dark Vengeance Box set.

Stretch Goals:
1: Finish up my Lord and all the Chosen
2. If my model collection is up to 95% completed, get a start building the rest of my converted Orlock gang. If not, continue to paint until I get to that or over it.

Have a busy month coming up. I'm mainly looking to wrap up some small, manageable projects that have fallen by the wayside (call it "end of spring cleaning") - namely, a few in-progress one-off from Reaper's Bones line. Big models, so they'll likely take up all of my hobby time, this month.

If, by some miracle, I finish them with sufficient time and energy left, I plan to move on to sculpting - my metal Stormwind Cavalry from Mantic are an absolute mess that will need no small amount of GS to get in paintable condition.

2 x Guardian squads and 2 x Striking Scorpions. None of it mine, wahhhh. I'm happy to see my skills improve model by model. By the time i get back to my stuff i will be ready for the golden demons! Ok, maybe not

well, since I've been working on the same lowly squad of 10 CSM for nigh on two months, now, I think this month is the time to finally finish them :p so, that'll be goal #1. goal #2 will be to get started on a 9-man raptor squad with the usual magnetization and all that. doubt I'll get them finished in june, but probably fairly close.

I failed to meet my goal last month, So this month the goal is to finish the hetzers (the camo is painted on, they just need detailing etc now) and assemble the 4ground buildings.

Work is so busy, not much time for models :(

I also did not meet last month's goals. I didn't get fired up to work on my deathwing termies until late in the month.

So this month will be very modest.

1. Finish DV DW terminator squad
2. Start but not finish either a Wall of Martyr or Sanctum Imperialis kit.

Next game day is the 14th. We will have two new attendees, one of which has gone full bore fluffy tau.

I've got quite a few models base-coated that need painting, as well as a few miniatures which need to be base coated and then painted. So I guess it would be:
1. Base-coat all the models
2. Try and get as many models painted as possible before uni starts up again next semester. There's quite a few, so I might struggle somewhat. I've got approximately:
- 6 squads of IG troopers
- 2 Sentinels
- half a squad of stormtroopers
- a Leman Russ
- 4 Heavy Weapons teams
- Command squad
- 5 snipers that I am re-tooling into a 'Scout' squad.
- And roughly 5 officers in various positions.

I think I might not make it

Late start to this month but it is a single project.

1. FW Maximilian Weissman Baneblade!!!



Edit: In depth work to be completed this month: (was way to excited when first posting about the Baneblade )

1. Strip the paint of the Baneblade, repair/replace a couple missing/contorted peices, magnetize the turret sponsons and demolishor canon, pin the hatch so it can be opened for a commissar, then basecoat.

2. Strip the paint off one of my Laser Destroyers, fix the barrel and tracks. Finish building the second Laser Destroyer, then prime basecoat.

3. Basecoat all my BFG, and paint the Battleship/Grand Cruiser.

4. If given time will finish work on two of my wheeled convertion Chimeras. (Some what doubtful this will get completed.)

Same thing as last year Pinky... try to paint my Knight! (and indeed, finish building and converting it).

I am aiming to get my kabalite warriors done both squads of them and hopefully get more of my Hell Drake done build some dark eldar venoms and get more demonettes painted and maybe fit in some painting of my warp talons...well that is the goal at least however it may not be the outcome hehehe O.o

I'm getting back into miniatures(WWII era miniatures originally) after a 25 year hiatus. Looking forward to getting the basics tools set up along with an airbrush and getting started on my first 40K miniature.

My goals are to learn as much as I can via tutorials and to get comfortable with my paints, brushes, and air brush. I know I'm going to screw up a lot, but the problem is I'm a perfectionist and a neat freak, so it should be an interesting journey.

Seriously though, I finished my DV Terminator squad. I shall have glamour shots up today.
Was able to desprue and magnetize the Wall of Martyrs and Imperial Weapon Emplacement kits. I could have done more but it was a long month...

Alright, so I got no where near my goals I wanted to due to life and personal issues. Only got done my Underhive scum and close to 25 pts of Menoth. :(

please to report that I *finally* got my CSM squad completed and added to my chaos shelf. on my desk, my raptor squad is assembled, magnetized and pinned. social life permitting, painting will probably begin tonight.
