We all just wanted to say thank you for the support, this went well even with the suprises, and the few "slight issues".
Everybody that we spoke to on the phone was very kind.

I'm hoping to see stuff by the end of the week. If everything comes in Thursday from GW like the guys hope, I'm close enough for FedEx to deliver in one day so may see it Friday afternoon. Just out of curiosity, have people received follow up emails after paying their invoices? I ordered and paid on Friday and haven't heard anything else, should I send them an email to check up on things?

When I talked to them, they said that they expect to ship my order out Thursday. I believe they put the orders in Sat. and probably received it around nowish and need probably a day to sort it out.

I've ordered from them in the past and they have always communicated if there was a delay in direct orders or anything. As long as you ordered stock items, I would think that yoru shipment should be sent out Thursday or Friday to be delivered mid-next week.

I made two separate orders, paid via paypal and got an email receipt not too long after. If you paid via credit card I'm not sure how that works.

I also ordered a ton of stuff, paid via PayPal and have also had a few e-mails back and forth to clarify a few things.

Everything seems fine so far and if all goes well, their ultimate aim (if it was their ultimate aim!) of attracting more long term customers with a short term crazy sale will work!

I'm still awaiting my items. I made two orders on Friday. The nice guys at Gorilla actually gave me the discount on the Advanced Order Orks stuff, so I got me a Battlewagon for the price of a Trukk and some other Ork goodies I get to look forward to. Their customer support has been very friendly and helpful. They accepted a slight delay in payment on my part with not so much as a wink and have been updating me on a regular basis as to the status of my order and answer emails within an hour of receiving them. Because my non-Advanced Order items included some Direct Only items, of which they also gave a good discount on, they will not be shipping until Friday. For all those who had the unfortunate luck of dealing with some real online retailer slime like The Drop Zone, I can understand people being wary of the new guy offering something almost too good to be true. Well, I, among many, decided to take a gamble on this latest shop and will be more than happy to let you know how it turns out.

Still awaiting your items? You ordered on Friday and today is Wedneday. If it takes a few days to ship the items (maybe a little more cause of the holiday rush) and then a few to several days in transit, you probably need to wait a bit longer for the items to get to you.

As I said in my post, due to me including a Direct Order item, they will be unable to ship out my order until Friday. The delay is entirely of my own making.

That was smart of you to negotiate the get the new ork stuff at the 40% discount too. I'm mad that I didn't think of that. At least it will be 30% off once they can sell them in January.

it has not because GW was slow to get us stock in and we just recieved the stuff about 2 hours ago.

Some of the smller orders (like yours) will go out today, and the rest will go out Tuesday!

Isn't that unusual. I haven't seen the order from Neil yet either. With the holiday and the huge order volume (plus the normal shipment time) it may be over a week before the stuff arrives.

As Oz said, the holiday season may delay shipping a bit. Have they replied back to your emails? I would expect people to be getting their orders this week. They are in Michigan, and I believe they sihp everything FedEx ground. I'm in Chicago, and I think I should be getting them Wednesday (earliest tomorrow).

I just got an email from them saying the order had shipped out today. Considering I'm in Michigan as well, Fedex should have it here for me tomorrow. For getting as swamped as I'm sure they did with orders, having stuff shipping out this quickly is a huge thumbs up in their direction. I'm certainly going to be giving them more of my business in the future.

I only had two items ordered and I didn't receive any messages after making payment via Paypal. I couldn't resist the idea of a $33 Monolith!

My order wasn't being shipped to my home address, so it may have arrived without my knowing.

There were some hiccups in my order. Two of the models I ordered were Direct Only and was promptly refunded the amount. Tracking info was sent soon after and my order should be coming in on Monday.

Status update:

as of now, all but 3 orders that should have been shipped already have been shipped, these 3 orders are not shipped because of errors of some sort

(for instance one has 2 regular SM predators - we needed 8 total, we had 5 on hand, so of the 3 we ordered from gw we recieved 3 CHOAS preds instead....)

these issues should be fixed by thursday this week.

ALL OTHER OPEN ORDERS are waiting on direct only stuff! and hopefully this should be delivered by thursday as well.

I can see that from the teams hard work, we have shipped and sent emails with tracking on 94% of the orders, so all in all we did a fairly good job in my opinion. I think we woul dhave been fooling ourselves to expect 100% of this to be done without a single issue.

Just got my order via FedEx this morning. In state shipping is great for fast delivery. Everything ordered was accounted for and was packaged very efficiently. I am 110% satisfied with the guys and will most assuredly be buying from them again in the future.

Got all my stuff.

So did my roommate.

We were worried for a bit because of the delay between posting of CC charges and the receipt of a FedEx tracker, but we got them.

Plus they threw in two copies of White Dwarf gratis!

Mine arrived today (I'm in Massachusetts)!

Haven't had a chance to go through it, but the box was certainly large enough, so it *should* have everything I ordered in there!
