Who knows. They ban some sites at the server level so if it's sharing a server with pr0n or gambling or politically unacceptable sites it may be caught up in the same net.

Also i dont believe they can actually do %40 off the rrp...and i know all of GWS trade prices.

If it's 40% off, it seems to me it's a "going out of business" sale and personally i wouldnt trust that.

Pretty sure from memory that theyre giving away a voucher in the deff kopta conversion comp too, so I would doubt theyre a scam mate ;O

never ordered from them but I've heard of them and I think they post here often.. I doubt it's a scam. Maybe they just want to unload stuff at or near cost for them in hopes that you'll order other things or come back for repeat busienss.

I've been at their physical store and for some events they do 40% off. While it doesn't make money, how else do you get your name spread when trying to compete against the warstore?

In terms of credibility, one of the GTGU dudes posts on here. You could send him a PM. They also sponsored a dakka dakka contest.

As a side, i dont' work for GTGU. I just know some of the guys. Their gamers and are trying to break into a pretty fierce online market.

Someone above said theyd used them and had no problems so go for it if you folks want to.

True, i guess it's hard to compete against the warstore, and so they have to give big discounts...but selling at a loss?...

The warstore is only site on the entire internet which GW allows to ignore their trade terms regarding the splitting up of boxed sets whilst keeping a trade account with them.I never really saw it as fair but good on them i guess.

Assuming that GTGU is associated with a store that has an account with GW, then they get a 45% discount on standard product. Bitz, figure cases, direct only items, and special editions like the ammo crate are at a lesser discount.

Selling a 55.00 landraider for 33.00 nets them about 2.75. Technically a profit, as long as they charge the buyer shipping, but pretty much a break even if you throw in Paypal charges, CC charges, etc.

Possibly worthwhile if you're trying to get people to try you out. Not smart business to do very often. I've got a ton of stuff I'm blowing out at my shop at 40% off, but it's stuff like spear heads and big army boxes. Once they are gone, I won't be re-ordering them, as most aren't available from GW anymore. I'm essentially getting back my money on them, and clearing up space for other things. These guys may need to reduce inventory, or may be doing it for advertising purposes.
