This isn't a GW even't so they should have nothing to say.....

So are people going to wear "Forum I.Ds"....otherwise, who will know who is who?

#After making the above statement, I run the real risk of being labelled SAD, so theres no way I'm announcing who I am!

Since I'll have the dakka logo clearly visible, I think the rest of you should write your usernames on your foreheads to make it easy to find each other and not have to worry about real names and crap like that.

By that I mean within, say, ten miles.

The M25 between the A40 and Watford has roadworks and a 40mph speedlimit.

I'll be running the Space Hulk tourny there why not pop by and have a go.

It's a bitch during the week but it should be OK on a Saturday you just have to mind the average speed cameras.

Anyway we ran a final trial of the Space Hulk game tonight and it worked really well.

And if you're in the doubles tourny mind the terrain my Club is providing it.

was thinking about being in the tourny with the wife, but where shes been ill, shes only had a chance to play 2 games of 40K, so decided not to throw her to the wolfs in a doubles tourny just yet, hopefully next year.......lol

yeah,
that's pretty cool, I wonder if he will/be allowed to give some info on future talisman releases! both the reaper and dungeon expansions are awesome!
Obviously It would be cool to know what each of the four corner Packs will be?
Personelly I'm hoping for more small add on packs like the reaper expansion, because they add more adventure cards that can be used with just the main board... (do you know how much table space this game takes up?!)

Panic...

Edit: I stopped being lazy and checked the FFG website the next release is a mini pack (yes!) called FrostMarch...

Who from Dakka actually went? I only spoke to Lupercal from dakka there. Couldnt see your grot army Panic either - perhaps my timing was off.

Fun event though, I hope it will be even bigger next year and it was certainly good seeing so many games and ranges in the flesh and in one place. I picked up a load of 15mm prepainted normandy buildings for my FoW stuff which is now sitting in my cabinet looking good.

I did see you all on the space hulk table throughout the day but any time I was near everyone was in full conversation so I didnt want to butt in (mainly as I had no idea which one was you).

I may have been outside getting some fresh air.

We ran four games today and were very pleased indeed with the event.

I did spend a little bit too much money but I do have a lovely Grind boxset to compensate.

I came so close to buying Grind as well but my painting queue would never get thinned if I had bought it and I presume it will be around to purchase for some time. Extremely tempting anyway! What is the model quality like?

Very good indeed, once painted they could easily pass for normal metal jacks on first glance.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

sadly they cannot, one of the first things I did when I got home was look at the Grind box.

I didnt expect them to either, what is the point of selling single heavy warjacks with three or four variant options when for two boxsets you can get ten with aprox one hundred weapon options.

The Khadoran light warjacks might make an appearance one day though, so I had a good look at them.

yeah,
GamesFest was Awesome.

I met BrimStone and Fynn... I might have even met others without realising!?

Has anyone played Grind yet, is the actual game any good?
I almost bought Grind too, but decided to buy more FW nurgle dreads instead!

My HighLight of the tourney was when a SoulGrinder charged my KillaKan unt.
He struck first and killed one Kan! the Two remaining Kans opened him up! he exploded 5" killing 2 Grots and a Squat... HaHaHa

ArbitorIan has posted a round up of our tourny action Here.
We had a blast and talked Tactics the whole way home!

Panic...

I was indeed there, but failed to meet anyone as I arrived painfully late.

Was a cool day though, I was impressed at the amount of systems available, even if the missus was tugging on my shirt sleeve the whole time...
