And FWIW, I held that repressor in my hands to see the fit - it was perfect. So that's first-hand experience that the plastic-resin fit is good.

Isn't all the evidence given so far anecdotal? Plus the discussion started with a wishlist item (A hybrid plastic/resin Vuture based on the valkyre plastic kit) so asking about "evidence" on the quality of that kit is, well, silly.
