Bet he makes bank selling them though.

Your side is always the "will of the people" the other side is always fundamentalist, extremist, hatemongers, racists, anti- semitic nazies with questionable education and more questionable hygiene. American politics 101.

VERY well executed. Seamless lady-boy conversions, realistic shading, great freehand, and the vehicles... ah, the vehicles. They're what really tip the scales into the 'awesome slathered with awesome-sauce" realm for me. It's obviously a novelty army, but the vehicles have all the signs of use and wear, without being weathered and damaged like they've been blown halfway to hell for the past 5,000 years. The look of real use, coupled with the ridiculous decoration ("Purple Rain" really did it for me. I had to choke back a chuckle) makes the army silly, girly, and vain, but also PLAUSIBLE which, in turn, makes it even more ridiculous. Maybe that's just me. Either way, I say WIN.

Nice paintjobs. Best distraction technique ever for games.

The Painting on these is of a very high standard which I can appreciate. However............................

If my 'male' opponent took these out the case and put them on the table opposite me, I'd seriously be questioning which team he plays for and whether or not he's ever found a female even remotely attractive!

A bit of everything really....... Titanicus, Bolt Action, Cruel Seas, Black Seas, Blood Red Skies, Kingdom Death, Relic Knights, DUST Tactics, Zombicide the lit goes on.............

I love it! Fabulous paint job and conversions.

Pictures of this army should be used when people ask "How do i get my wife/girlfriend into 40k?".

I think more women would be into at least the hobby aspect if they can see how much fun you can have with it.

Oh and Drill out those Gun Barrels!

Really?

I really think they are a waste of your talent and time. I absolutely love the Eldar you did and clearly you have a knack for taking 40k visuals to new, interesting heights.

If you do "pretty marines" to earn your living and to please a customer or you just think this work is what you want into your artistic legacy - my hat's off to you.

But looking at it as work from a seriously talented artist - I personally think it's utter bollocks, not even pushing the parody and hearty pinkness into any new or bold direction. It has absolutely nothing to do with the imagery and spirit of the subject matter. Some years past some guy did NHL marines, people generally loved them. I thought it worked just about as well as if Ovechkin wore a Space Marine power armour mockup to games.

Fantastic technical skill, but I'm looking at an inside joke that I don't quite understand. Kudos for trying something completely original though.

Artists can include humor in thier work. Not everyone has to be dark and dismal.

They are very original and I love them. Now I wanna see pretty orks.

I must say GREAT job here on these marines (I say marines loosely here ).

As one fella said in an earlier post I reel a little violated. Kinda like opening the door to my work room and seeing that my wife redecorated it with Strawberry Shortcake stuff. (probably dated myself with the Strawberry Shortcake comment)

I really like what you have done. Very clean and different. I would not want this paint job but I surely would not want to have my booty handed to me by them either. Oh the shame

Now I expect to see some marines riding "my pretty ponys" for fast attack vehicles. Get on it.

Oi!! Which Butt'n makes dis ting go!?!

Actually I had been planning to make them for a while, just hadnt had the chance until last week. I also dont appreciate you belittling what I do for a living.

Instead of looking at the hobby from your high horse, maybe you should step down and see that not only does this army make people laugh but it has garnered me a great deal of publicity. The response has been astounding and as I said before, Try getting such a response from any fluffily painted chapter. No one appointed you sir handsome knight of the fair fluff maiden, its a big universe. Not only plenty of space it in for wild ideas but space to stop and have fun with it too.

Enemies of the Emprah beware. Bolter hugs and flamer kisses for everyone.
Seriously, the paint job is fabulous. It's like seeing a Ferrari recycled into a sculpture.
Cool, beautiful, painful.
Wow, you have been tainted by Slaanesh!

No one kills more threads than me. Maybe I leave nothing else to say. Maybe my comments suck so hard people are left stunned. Who can say.

It's a silly army to look at but if you look at the list as a whole I think it could win some games. I've been to GMM's studio and seen that he has painted many many beautiful armies plus he can knock out an entire army in a very short period of time. Most of us would need six months to a year to produce an army as well modeled and painted. Seeing that GMM can quickly produce an army why should he not create some that are a variant to what we expect to see. So often I see people criticize an army when it does not fit into how they think an army or particular army should look. Lighten up please. They are toy soldiers. While I wouldn't buy this army that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the work put into it or fail to enjoy the intended humor.
