Actually, MGS is 100% right. That is GW's best ever model and makes it worth starting a Khornate army.

I dont even like Chaos (40k or Fantasy) but that Khorne Lord on Juggernaut also makes me wanna start a Khornate army for Fantasy. It's a testament to how badass the model is. The pose, dynamics and size of it oozes pure badassery.
That being said, the new Deathmaster Snikch model for the soon-to-be-updated Skaven also makes me wanna start up a horde of ratmen, despite my vows never to start up a horde army, ever again....

New Deathmaster is amazing, but there could be an element of new model bias affecting my judgement.
I normally go for the Hypno Toad in these threads...
Automatically Appended Next Post: It amuses me that this thread was started as a counter point to my Worst GW Model in Production thread which in turn was started as a counter point to an earlier Best GW Model in Production thread.

It's a hard choice for me, as I think most of the un-converted models look great, as do many of the conversions that people on this fine website have done. I'll stick to space marines as that is what I have the most experience with.
Personally, I think that Chaplain Grimaldus for the Black Templars is the best looking Space Marine model of any type.
My honorable mention would be the current Chaplain in Terminator Armor. 100% righteous, hardcore, bad-ass, smite-you-in-the-face right there.

It's a toughy, but I'll have to go with the forthcoming Screaming Bell.
An impressive centrepiece for your army, and the sort of model which (combined with the rest of the new Skaven) suggests that the sculptors have finally realised a model can be a work of art as well. Pushes way beyond any other plastic kit in terms of it's animated look. The smoke billowing from the brazier, the demented Grey Seer riding it. To my knowledge, never before have GW managed such a sense 'it's real' with a plastic kit before, and possibly even with their metal.

In addition to my previous entry of Lord Karamazov, I'd have to say that the Khorne Juggernaut is absolutely brilliant (although I could care less for the Lord riding it). And I'd have to throw in a vote for the new Skaven Doomwheel - I think I'm in love with that model.

The only way to improve upon the Khorne Jugger Lord, is to include the Night Gobbo from the 'Animosity' collecters vignetter. The one putting his dukes up. Positioned correctly, you could make him look like the bravest, thickest, most optimistic Gobbo ever born!

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

The new SW Terminator box is currently my favourite plastic kit, and by a hell of a long shot too. If the new Plaguething/Screaming Bell is in plastic it'll be serious contender.

No, I love the Harlequins, but with them it is more the freehand designs on each model that makes them great.
Also I second everything else, and present my God.
