I think the best single model (as distinct from plastic kits) still in production is Brian Nelson's Ghazgkhull. He's just about perfect both as a representation of a particular character and as a beautifully sculpted model.

Be'lakor and The Green Knight from WFB - both lovely models, both fantastic to paint. I use the Be'lakor one as an adhoc Daemon Prince/Greater Daemon as well - makes a great generic Daemon when required.

The most underrated GW model in existence. Alex Hedstrom is my favorite GW sculptor. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if you don't think this is the best GW model your opinion is crap and you're wrong.

I wouldn't say it's my favourite GW model, but it's pretty high up there. I absolutely agree that it's completely underrated.

As a pure Grey Knight player, I say the Grey Knight Terminators are 70% of the reason I play them. Because of awesomeness.

From Forge World, the new Daemon Prince of Khorne (the one that comes with the Herald) is stuffed to the gills with amazing, but is a PITA to assemble.

For those who have never assembled it, just try to GUESS how many pieces it is!

i love the regular grey knights to pieces termi's a lil less.
i also love the new (7th ed) goblins the 6th ed ones are making me wanna cry =P

I have to agree with most of these comments, particually Grey Knights (termies and power), Termie Chaplain, Ghazzy and those amazing looking Skaven (shame I only play 4OK!

)

However what about the vindicator tank - it looks amazing!

Now that I think about it, The Epic-scale Warlord is awesome too. Looks exactly like its depicted in fluff, nothing looks too big or small, and its a massive awesome titan of death thats easy to transport.

I also love Maugan Ra, Asurmen and Jes Goodwin's original Howling Banshee and Warlock models.

From non-Eldar, I think the Burna Boyz are fantastic, and my favourite Ork HQ is the Big Mek with KFF.

For Marines, Pedro Cantor (He spells it with a 'C', damnit. Check Rogue Trader) and the Techmarine with Servo Harness really stand out.

Fire warriors. very poseable, and look good painted. also like the hammerhead, that HUGE railgun owns. also, the baneblade and lr demolisher are favourites of mine. When i have the forgeworld tank commander fitted ill post some pictures of it. back on topic, +1 for the grey knight termies. the necron lord with the scyth (not the destroyer lord) is also a favourite of mine.
