That's from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. I think it's the largest mosaic of Christ in the New World. The building itself, IIRC, is the eighth largest religious structure in the world.
Oh and who thinks "Swiss Guard" would make a good SM chapter?

His conception was not natural. He was made through the collective conciousness of every Shaman on Earth long before the rise of the Mesopotamians. He was born in 8000BC in Central Anatolia to mortal parents, and not being human per se, he has the gift of eternal life.
Question what does made through the collective conciousness mean? So he was made purely out of the will/wishes/dreams? of countless human beings? And then born of mortal humans? That makes no sense. Makes almost as much sense as a "virgin birth" so is the emporer a christ figure? Not trying to go off-topic but his origin is somewhat interesting.
I know I've been to Lexicanum before looking for Chaos stuff - it's pretty awesome!
I would really not be surprised if this bit of fluff is altered by GW...perhaps in the shocking revelation that was mentioned to be coming in the Horus Heresy line.
