BNP: Get votes - Due to people not being able to find a happy medium in the im. polocies.
The BNP offer the most extreme one, and funnily enough, one of the only ones, hence why people get desperate and vote for them, hence thier rising number of votes over time.

If another party came up with a policy then it would boost thier votes stupidly, they just like to piss about with taxes (which we end up paying more on)

So, all parties except 1 offer higher taxes for no fething reason.
BNP offer a racist outlook on life, and an im. policy.

Most will go for higher taxes in hope of something good, but people will still vote BNP no matter what happens.

If anyone needs something to compare this to (but a little less extreme) look up the history of the klan and how they got into power.
Seems pretty close to what the BNP are doing.

racism starts at the home! you protect your family because everone else is not your faimily, therefor diffrent! there is a line of thinking that you can folow via priority right through to anything living on earth. ill try and show you it below.

Still not understanding how protecting your family makes you racist,my family is multi-racial,so in defending them I don't see how "race" would be involved.

Since my wife's Japanese and I'm Anglo-Saxon, I can't afford to be racist or I would get kicked in the nuts.

Everyone isn't a little bit racist. Everyone has a tendency towards racism because of our natural psychology; the way we see the world is naturally divided into groups -- skin colour is an easy way to create recogniseable groups.

Having formed mental groupings, we ascribe positive qualities to our in-group and negative qualities to the out-groups.

However, we are creatures of reason too, and we can use our reason to try to avoid actually being racist.

I wasn't saying it makes you racist, I was more racism is derived from it, I probably didn't make that clear...

The National Front was a forerunner of the BNP, and they did recruit skinheads. There are various skinhead racist groups such as Combat 18.

The BNP has distanced itself from the NF heritage, having realised that they can't possibly get a lot of votes on a policy of kicking people's heads in.

The problem with concentrating on immigration is that while it's a fairly popular subject it obscures and ignores more important factors in national 'success'.

The USA is the most diverse nation in the world, having accepted waves of immigration from all over Europe, Latin America and the Far East. Did it make the US a weak and unsuccessful nation?

Britain's problems are much more to do with poor education and unequal distribution of wealth, employment and power, than immigration.

Thanks for clearing that up for me KK,I knew that the BNP/National Front/skinheads were somehow connected,just wasn't entirely sure how.
And,yes the USA is a very diverse nation,as you said,and I for one belive that diversity is part of what makes us strong,however we too have our fair share of problems that many are quick to blame on "immigrants" or on various races.

I'm not quick to blame immigrants. I ponder any problem for all of 3.5 seconds and THEN I blame immigrants.

The thing in my mind about racism is that even if we were all the same color, there'd still be something to separate us. Look at Korea and how they hate each other or Protestants and Catholics, to name a couple of examples.

theres a reason for that! British workers are lazy(in general) there workman ship can be lacking and scrappy. polish people doing the same job will and usually do try a lot harder to do the same job better. this is why they have and get the jobs!. also there willing to do the RELAY bad jobs that no one wants to do(like some of the nastier cleaning jobs).

Being on the dole is basically being payed by the government for doing jack. it is also known as calming benefits. I'm aware that America does not do this as it would cost a lot of money(indeed it costs us a lot and out population is A LOT smaller than Americas). It's our way of helping people out the gutter(supposedly). Sadly this doesn't always work as my mum works with 3rd and 4th generation of consecutive benefits claimers who just haven't worked (for some there are reasons, others not so much...).

people keep going on about the bnp being nazi's and such, but lots of people have voted for them, which is in the end the problem with democracy, the majority vote is in control, if the majority vote to elect the bnp, this becomes the "right" choice...
