All in all, the Cerberus Network offered some decent stuff. I haven't played the tank missions yet, but they gave us Zaeed, a new shotgun, a new heavy weapon, the crash site. For something which was basically a "reward" for people buying the game new it was pretty good.

I dunno if it would be worth it for someone buying a used copy of the game. I think the Normandy crash site was awesome (though I resented the presence of the the element zero) and Zaeed was pretty good but worth $15? Ehhhh...

Kasumi though, I think that's going to be worth the $7.

Indeed I would accept a switched pricetag for Kasumi and Zaeed. Or I would if Zaeed wasn't free. Kasumi is definately worth at least $15. The extremely low $7 tag that Bioware ended up sticking on it was, IMHO, just a company showing it's appreciation to customers. Don't see enough of that these days to be honest. It's good to know that a few big names still care about where they came from.

Right, downloaded and played the Kasumi DLC. I must say, the first part of the mission (where you're in a suit) was very cool, but not long enough. You get to keep the suit as a casual outfit after the mission, too!

The combat section is actually pretty hard. You have to fight two YMIR Mechs fairly close together and you can't take a third squadmate with you. The end boss is a fething nightmare, IMO.

Kasumi's room is at the other end of the corridor from Samara's, and yes, it has a bar.
There are interactable objects in her room that trigger dialogue, and she'll have her own thoughts on missions and people, but she has the same style of dialogue as Zaeed.

Was it worth 560 MSpoints? Yep.

Downloading it right now while I'm at work. Where's she wind up staying on the Normandy? Port Observation?

At the opposite end of the hall from Samara.

So yeah, the Port Observation deck.

Figured as much. Pretty much packs the Normandy, and the squad select screen, full then.

If I recal correctly, Bioware stated they wanted to keep supporting ME2 and Dragon Age with DLC over the year. I wonder what else we'll get.

Hopefully some additional missions, armor PIECES, and a machine gun that shoots straight.

The lack of accuracy for the Revenant is a tradeoff for its insane damage and thermal clip capacity. I thought that was obvious.

The accuracy is also much less of a problem with the AR Accuracy upgrade anyway.

It's over balanced. With the Vindicator is accurate enough that it's quite easy to pop heads with it at ranges the Revenant is just praying to hit targets at. Even with the upgrade its not really an improvement over the Vindicator as the Vindi gets the benefit of the boost as well. The thermal clip capacity is a wash as you have two or three times as many shots down range with the Revenant to get as many hits as you would have with the Vindi.

I've really never had a problem with the Revenant. Granted, I don't use it all the time, especially if I have the Geth Pulse Rifle, but it's very useful if someone else is sniping for me. It's all about getting in close.

I used it all the time in my first play through. I've been using the Vindicator far more heavily this time around and I'm not having any more trouble than the first go, less in some cases as i can keep a steady stream of 3 round bursts hammering my targets in the face and upper chest.

I just didn't even bother with the Vindicator once I got the Pulse Rifle. It's very accurate and fires as fast as the Avenger with the bonus of being even better against shields and barriers.

Krogan, YMIR Mechs or anything with armour/barriers.

I'm currently playing an Infiltrator on hardcore. It's not that difficult I have to say, though that might change once I meet that annoying Collectore Robot thingy.

Question: Can I get Legion, do Tali's loyalty Quest and have the romance scene with her before my crew dies?

Yep on the loyalty. Trick to getting 100% Crew Loyalty is to recruit everyone and do their loyalty mission -before- getting the IFF. Getting the IFF only allows you time to do one more loyalty mission before they get abducted.

So if you picked up Legion before finishing everyone's loyalty missions, then either him or the other crewmember(s) that haven't had loyalty quest(s) done will not all be able to be made loyal if you want to save your crew.

And you're pretty much guaranteed to lose any non-loyal members in the final mission. I didn't want that to happen to me, so I ended up having to start all over again.

As for the romance scene, it -only- executes after the crew is abducted. It doesn't have any effect on the outcome of whether your crew lives or dies.

Actually you're not entirely right on the Loyalty thing.

The way the game is set up the amount of time between picking up the IFF and triggering the end game varies. The variable is how many loyalty quests you haven't done with the crew you've got. In other words you can grab the IFF and then have time to do X number of missions before the endgame triggers. Now you don't have to do loyalty quests. Any major quest will count so you can still screw it up.

Here's my advice. Do EVERYTHING, I mean everything, except for Tali's loyalty mission. Now go grab the IFF. You'll now have Legion on board and his and Tali's loyalty quests to do. Now go and do those two quests. They should be the only thing you can do. Once you finish the last quest you get the end game trigger and you can go right through the relay with no delay. From what I've read there's a similar delay between the end game trigger and when you start losing crewmen but I don't chance it. Finish everything then go for the IFF.

Since I play a FemShep I don't delay the trip through the relay lest my single love interest get goo'd.

When I picked up up Legion, I brought him on Tali's mission, but didn't get to do his before the ship got attacked. He ended up dying as a result.

So I would suggest doing -everything- first, then grabbing him and firing off his mission. You're not missing much if you don't bring him on the Floatilla. I wouldn't consider it a chance worth taking myself.

I've already seen what happens when I bring him. I was just wondering if his being there would be one of the things being carried over to Mass Effect 3. The character I'm currently playing with will be my good character I'm going to import in part 3. I just like planning.

The question is, if I delay all this stuff, can I still move the relationship with Tali forward enough to have the romance scene at all?

See, I've never had that happen. I've always been able to do his Loyalty quest before the crew gets kidnapped.

Basically your best bet is to do all recruiting and loyalty missions -before- scooping up Legion. Once you get him, turn him on right away and pick up his mission ASAP. Then you'll have a fully loyal crew, and (hopefully) the Quarians will get their world back in ME3 thanks to altering the Geth programming

Yup, every time.

The geth don't give a damn about the planet. It's irrelevant to them. The have no need for a habitable world, just resources. I suspect that Shepherd will convince them that they and the quarians can live in peace by staying away from one another.

Well, if you talk to all the Quarians at the hearing with Legion in party, he'll tell them that originally, the Quarians were seen as enemies because they attacked the Geth 100% of the time if the odds were in their favor.

Now that the Geth serve the reapers, it's another story. But if Legion's reprogramming worked, then assuming the Quarians were willing to Parley with the Geth rather than keep fighting them, there is potential for them to coexist again.
