I shared a house for a couple of years with a DM bass player and his girlfriend (who was in another band - more hard rock ). I always found the "cookie monster" vocals a little OTT for my own tastes.
That said, I was starting my SFX training at the time (with prosthetics work) and ended up doing some of the makeup and prosthetics for his band and as such, got into their shows free (and their rider), and also got to hang with some other "well known" (well, in the Aussie DM scene - they reunited a few months back for an awards show - Sadistik Execution) band guys.
I do like Dimmu borgir. My current tastes verge more towards the symphonic stuff though.
I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
Just had a moment of pure metal happiness, I got my hands on the first Red Harvest album... And it was signed. So now I am gonna find a frame and hang it on the wall
Awesome, at the metal shop in a town called Kamloops by where I live.
The guy said he saw a interview and the singer from Satyricon has a Burzum demo album, not just any demo album one with euros blood on it.
This was also the day I bought my Mayhem and Burzum shirt as well as a Vindicator and a Dreadnought. That was a happy day.
I've sold so many armies. :(

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Best root beer I've ever tasted in a "chain" restaurant.
I believe it's a US and Canada thing only. Not large enough to branch across the ocean like McD's, Wendys or BK.
