It's too bad that Eldar powered down so much in 5e.

Waiting on a definition of "SPAM" from mods since 9/11 http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/396123.page

@beerfart-Yeah, Then they allow covers saves against mind attacks to add insult to injury. All helmets in the 41st millenium must have a tin foil lining to keep the aliens from eatin' their brain waves.

The current results are still:

1st- Orks

2nd- IG

3rd- Tyranids

4th- Tau

5th- Chaos SM's & Eldar

Interesting results so far. I hope this goes to several hundred so we can get a clearer picture.

On that note, I again ask new viewers to vote and to post why the army they pick is their favorite.

I ask those that have already voted to tell your friends so they can vote for their favorite army.

Remember, winning army gets Internet Pie and bragging rights of dakka being their turf, ....until the next poll.

So keep the vote coming in.

With little to no votes over the past 24 hours I'm going to call Orks the winner here. Feel free to keep posting and voting. If the results change dramatically I will post a revision.

Until then:(Cheesy MC announcer voice "on")

First Place and winner of the"Dakka Dakka is Our Turf" bragging rights goes to the ORKS.
(Congratulations, your internet pie is on the back of the giant turtle in the internet reception area.

Second Place and runner up goes to the Imperial Guard for managing to hold off the Tyranid Hive Fleets.
(Quick to the recption area for Turtle pie before the 'neds get there.)

Third Place goes to the Tyranids.
(Well there goes the reception area.)

Honorable mentions(But still Losers that get no pie):

Fourth Place goes to the diminuitive Tau Empire
(Well done and thanks for hosting the awards ceremony)

Fifh Place A tie between the Chaos SM's & the Eldar
(Special thanks to the noise marines for agreeing to provide the sound system and music and to the Eldar for the Dancers and wine)

To Everyone else, maybe time will change these results. Thats right, you may have lost but you don't have to loose Hope.

Tau for me. I love the models, I like the back story and I like the challenge of orchestrating a combined arms effort to have success. They seem like the only race who's star is rising instead of being entirely grimdark. I am sure when the Tau get a new codex next year GW will hammer Tau with the grimdark stick, energetic, tolerant races don't survive in the future it seems .

I used to love the Blood Angels, but throughout the years they have morphed from a 'normal space marine chapter with a neat special unit' army, into a 'bum rush the enemy with all assault squads as fast as possible' army. I always thought them more of a iron willed cold rage army, instead of the insane hot rage type of army they are now. Red marines used to be my favorite, but now I get the impression that they almost play themselves instead of my strategy and tactics determining the outcome.
