I have Black Templars, still under development. My DE are done*, and my SoB are under development too. If I wouldn't have this WIP armies, I would consider Imperial Fists or Crimson Fists. But I would also consider Imperial Guard.

I'll stick to 1 MEQ by now.

* I mean I'm not buying more models, at least until the renewal. I don't have all my minis assembled and painted.

probably should not count for the sake of this poll, no more than a Guard list that put GK in Valkyries or Chimeras. But a DH list focused on GK counts as far as I'm concerned.

Fair enough, then it doesn't quite apply to me as I never fielded my GK as seperate list. Do you count Custodes as an SM army as well then? (For Asherian Command)

*snip*...which we can debate elsewhere.

I used to have around 2000pts of Salamanders, but sold them eventually. I've now found the true path, and am collecting Thousand Sons =D

Looking for fun articles on painting, tactics and wargaming? Are you after a new regular blog to follow? Are you a bit bored with nothing better to do?

If the answer to any of the above is 'well, I guess' you could probably do worse than read my blog! Regular wargaming posts, painting and discussions

When I started playing 40k 10 years ago I picked up Dark Eldar as my first army, and then started the Space Marines shortly there after. In chronological order from oldest to newest:

1. Blood angels
2. Imperial Fists
3. Grey Knights (do they count?)
4. Salamanders
5. Alpha Legion
6. Vulkan/Salamanders (with the newest codex)
7. Black Legion
8. Blood Angels (with the newest codex)

Each army was made of entirely new models each time, and I had at least 1500 points of each. I've also had at least one 1500+ point army for each other race in the game. I've had far too many armies.

I have at least 1500pts of every army (most are well over 5000!), but I will admit, I LOVE me some Space Marines!

I started in 1987 with Space Marines and the bug hit me hard! Here's my list:

1. Birds of War - Space Marines
2. Imperial Guard
3. Eldar
4. Space Wolves
5. Sisters of Battle
6. Dark Angels/Ravenwing/Deathwing
7. Tyranids
8. Tau/Kroot
9. White Scars
10. Dark Eldar
11. Necrons
12. Deamon Hunters/Witch Hunters
13. Black Templars
14. Chaos Marines
15. Deamons
16. Orks
17. Blood Angels

I like to play all of the armies, but my fall back always seems to be my White Scars. There is something about the look on your opponents face when you just keep putting bikes down is priceless!

I only have one Marine Army currently. And I deeply regret wasting my money on such a boring army.

2 Space Wolves and 3 DIY Nilla marines.

3rd Edition Nilla Marines: Black with blue and red trim, a fairly Balanced force
3rd edition SWs
4th Ed nilla: DIY Don't remember the Traits used but I do remember i had ass-cannon Spam in the list; paint was Boltgun with Light Purple and Gold trim
5th edition Nilla: Mostly a Repaint of my 4th edition leftovers(I only kept what would fit in my GW hard case) added a set of AoBR marines to it and an extra Dread, Chaplain Cassius, and A Master of the Forge w/conversion beamer.
5th Edition SW: Razor Back/Grey Hunter Spam(6 units) with 2 HQs, 4 WG and a Dakka Pred.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.

I've only had one space marine army, which was the ultramarines... They were my first army, started in 4th edition, and stopped because of how boring they are/were for me atleast. I still have some of them, and I have no idea what to do with them
