Glad someone is, thanks for following through my somewhat erratic way of doing things.
So without further ado I present, Nameless Heretic 1, Bespoiler of the imperial truth, Backbone of the unholy powers........ Well the paintjob is only 50% and splotchy in places but.....here he is.
This is the overview, particularly pleased with the armour thus far.
Thanks, let me know what you think and give a vote in the gallery if you can spare the time.

I'm liking the armour, looks really worn... good stuff...
i'd be tempted to do a grey wash over the shaved part of his head to make it look like stubble... and maybe a devlan mud wash over the skin too...
is that a bandana over his mouth, if so i wonder if it might look better in a colour thats further from his skin colour?
Looking good though, cant wait to see it finished.

Yeah the skin is very PIP most of the work has gone into the armour so far, definitely going to include grey tones in it, like the SW.
Lol shows how bad my sculpting is, started out as a respirator, I'm halfway through blending to bone, think a skull mask.
I'm torn about the bolt pistol colours, any ideas?

Ha, if we're on Dakka we're already sparing time.
I'm glad to see progress. This is a project I'd really like to see through to the end.
As for the gun, I'd just expect it to be rusted or scraped up or bearing the colors of the local PDF, so as to look suitably looted.

Right not an update of the project as such but a look at what I've been doing.....not alot, but I have started working on a chaplain, this is one of my favourite GW sculpts so I want to nail it. Just a PIP as I'm going away so dont expect a follow up. Well not soon!

On first glance I thought that Heretic was buried waist-deep in gravel! I'm sure it's more clear IRL

Yeah hopefully that'll be more clear once the gravels painted.
I am slightly worried about the size of the torso to the legs, any thoughts?

Ok, don't take this the wrong way...but I have absolutely no idea what is on the heretics face. It really just looks like a blob of green stuff. I honestly think it should be redone. It might just be the painting or the pictures, but I don't think it looks very good. Sorry if that is too harsh, but I call it like I see it...

I know this threadromancy, but dont judge me, I have something new to add.
Its been a while definitely, but I've been scheming. The book is on the shelf for now (Get It?) because of the snow and freezing temperatures, which affect my precious sprays and airbrush. So, I could have worked on the characters or started a completely new project. Like most hobbyists I gave into temptation and eager to improve grabbed my greenstuff.
What do you think?
I know its not the best, but its a concept, hopefully paint will work wonders.
Thanks....

I like it, the gun is cool and the green stuff on the trouser legs is well done.
Now i vote for painting!
