Since I started the game 2 years ago, I've collected 3,500-ish points of Cadians. Doing a quick mental guesstimate, I come up with $800-900 dollars. Of course, I've spent about $1,500 on BFG stuff on top of that...

I've spent about $4000 in 5 years on 40k and Fantasy.

a crap load of paints, glues, and hobbying nonsense, around 250 bucks thus far.

I've spent around 1500 USD on it I'd say. I think it's a relatively cheap hobby though, it's just full of whiners that need to experience other hobbies a little more.

road bicycle: $2000 + $2-300/year in gear
Drums: I've at least got $4,000 in plus the regular need of sticks
My hiking and climbing gear together probably totals around $2000
Get a g/f or wife and you'll need some sort of mathematical analysis to see where the limit of your spending might possibly end up.
I'm not even to some of the more expensive hobbies: golf, cars (especially if you race them), or anything aquatic.

Basically other than computer gaming I've seen tabletop gaming as one of the more reasonable hobbies that I have. I'm not into computer gaming but I'd imagine if you are always running the latest pc build then you are chunking out money too. Not to mention you have to pay monthly for every game now adays.

More than enough. Not as much as some people but enough.

I may have dropped a couple Gs on it already, but the way I see it, this is my only real hobby (the only one I spend any amount of money on, anyway), and my job pays well enough that I can afford it.
