hungrygp - troops in this case mean Sniper Scouts.. all the marines in this force will either be Sternguard or Vanguard.. the basic troops will be the "inquisitional" bodies.

As for the Lion Warriors.. would you be freehanding it, or do you want a similar pad that I got from BLACKHAND to use?

I was gonna go with sculpting the lion's head chapter badge shown in the link. I can do the pad and post a pic for you to check out before I paint up the marine if you'd like.

I was thinking basic bolter, but that's what I thought you were looking for more of. How jazzy you want him?

Combi weapon? Or.. Jump packer with chainsword and pistol?

I have oodles of basic bolter guys now, and am looking for the combi-weapons to make the sternguard truly wicked..

Hmm, combi-weapons is something I actually don't have lying around, so jumper with chainsword it is Plasma pistol or bolt?

And I'll have to warn you, you may get a couple based on the awesomeness of this theme.

I can use either.. I would PREFER to get just a bolt pistol, but if you are doing multiple models from multiple chapters, then one can have plasma..

remember to leave the right arm shoulderpad off the model, and the jump pack needs to be detachable so I can put my pad on.. Some of the incoming Vanguards I had to carefully cut the pack off to fit the pad on, and re-glue. I would hate to have to do that.. every time I do I cringe in case I scrape the paint..
