The Dorn model is by far my personal favourite I've been considering working on a chapter master for my fists nothing on this scale of course but I'm defiantly feeling inspired, 2 right up there.

But this works are only sculpt commissions.

Hello everyboy!

It´s a have been a while since the last update, the year changes, someones have passed away, and others just get birth.


Everything still messy around here, but I always try to make another step foward.

I will like to thanks to all my friends and clients for their support and understanding.





So, in the middle of a bunch personal life problems, another primarch get done.

At this occasion Lion El Jonson, Primarch of the Dark Angels.

A model that took a lot of time to get done. I mix a lot of things to do this model. First I always found interesting the feral childhood of Lion, and feel that partticular aspect need to be around the miniature... That´s why he have the torn cape and tunic.

The general line sof the armor was inspired on the gothic cathedral around Europe (the generator was made trying to emulate the towers at the Sagrada Familia cathedral).

The skull of the Caliban´s beast as relic-trophy, sided by candles.

And the servitor as altar boys, carriers of the other sacred personal objects of the Lion gives a lordly sense to all group.


I have some troubles with the scale but the model turns out pretty well.

I find some proportions in the lion are off, waist and legs a bit too small, head a bit too big...

The thing is it doesn't really matter. Every piece you do seems to be meant to take one or 2 elements further than anything out there. In this case, the filigree on the cape, the baroque framings and details of the armor, and the sheer depth of layers is mind blowing.

The thing about your stuff is it could never be cast, not like that anyhow, and because of that you are free to really make something unique everytime.

While personally I find something just a little jarring about the Primarch figures (I dont really like the faces, all a bit sunken and "old man"), I still admire the skill and level of detail.

How do they scale next to regular marines? Quite a bit taller I'm expecting due to how they fill the bases - obviously in keeping with the fluff too.

OMG , what drama and movement , you capture in your models, these really capture the dark spirit of 40k , great work

Yeah, this model give me some headaches about proportions (I have to resize it a couple of times), but I believe that the end result looks fine.

As always say, I pushed some proportions to make the models look a little bit unnatural.
I believe that the only anatomycal correct primarch will be Fulgrim, the rest, just are weird guys with fancy armors , hehehe.

This model it´s a private commissiion, and will be painted by the client.

About the time insumed on the model I cannot precise it, but the whole project (design, and modelling the 3 models) took about a year.

There is only one thing wrong about the AWESOME sculpting you do is I would have to commission someone else to paint it because I am not worthy.

Ferrus Manus


The model was planned to get ready around end of February. But, unfortunately Brother Varen (my client9 lost his job, and have to cancel the commission.
I was planned to finish it at some point (he needs a lot of work on final details (such candles, purity seals, cog seals, AdMech icons) a cape made of metal plaques (like the skirt and shoulder of thismodel), and a bunch of servo-skulls flying all around.

The model stands around 12 cm from the bottom of the base to the top of the candles.
The idea was that Ferrus made his own armour previous the emperor arrival to Medusa. then he join the cruzade and add all Imperial symbols.

Also I want to suggest that the techmarine armour style born in Ferrus mind.

Almost forgot to answer... That cream parts are BS. A local brand called parsec.

It dries hard rock, very useful to make basic shapes, easy to sand.
