To be honest, I would love to field a Dark Eldar army. However the playstyle and fluff don't really mesh with me well.
I'd love to play such an army (and stomp it into the ground! ) but I wouldn't pick it up myself. Here's hoping sales go well though, maybe we'll see more rapid updates in the future! I wanna start a Necron army!

I probably will. I love the look of the new models and I want to get back into something completely chaotic and evil. Now that I'm picking up some commission work it shouldn't be too hard either.

Theyre my first army. Sold the old models ages ago and have been waiting for the new release whilst playing guard and nids in time being. It will be good to go back to my favourite army. Especially with the look of some of the new models in the GW newsletter.

No. I might buy Lelith to paint, but that's it. And even that probably won't be for another 12 months, until there's anything else I'd want to order from the UK.

Yep, I'll probably get some. Orks are still my main army but I've been considering DarK Eldar for a while so this is obviously the time, probably just get enough to field 1500pts.
Although as I'm about to start a Necrons army I may have to wait until new year to buy my Dark Eldar.

Ya know, I really thought I wasn't going to. I already have my 3rd Edition Dark Eldar army, all nicely done as Warriors and Incubi. I have my next three armies planned. That will be SEVEN armies I own. But yet... Wych Cult. I never did a Wych Cult. Maybe my eighth army will be my second Dark Eldar army. Odd.

Would love to have a DE army for something different, instead of my usual marines whom I have trouble keeping away from! but i'm really into good looking but quick painting styles with my armies, and the DE as much as i'd love to paint them up would take forever inmo to get them looking how I want them, so nope I'll wait for my Necrons to come back out....soon hopefully before i'm 40

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I had decided to play DE a while back. I'm in the process of finishing my Tau then after that I'm going to start with DE. I was going to start buying DE way before they came out, but I decided that I needed to finish my Tau, and why buy old things when the new mini's were coming out anyway? I had the desire to play DE way before I found out they were getting redone.

I actually have some D. Eldar, but they never got to be an actual army because the models sucked. Now I am going to buy some just for the models. I most likely will not use them in a fight until the hype goes down and I can use them without anyone booing me for "Bandwagoning." The only reason I do not have around 1500 pts is the models use to suck so much I couldn't bring myself to buy them.
|
Quoted from "The Defenestrator":
"Yes, I don't buy into the goody goody image the Tau PR machine has churned out . They're all dirty cold-blooded space-communists if you ask me! Besides, their shiny, selfless "we love everyone for the Greater Good" vibe is so unfitting for the "lulz we're all badass jerks" future of 40k. GW needs to play up their cold, calculating, "join us or die, and probably still die anyway" Borg-y style. That's just me of course."
Altanis wrote Vindicare. Hes like Santa he watches when your sleeping. He knows when your awake. I doesn't matter if youve been bad or good because the inquisition put a hit out on you and a shield breaker round is gonna go through your head when your eating your weaties.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

I'm pretty sure I posted already that I would: but only if the models were amazing, as I already have about 5 different 40k armies. Well, I'm about to start my 6th (on a teacher's salary!!). Haha!. The models are fantastic, and I don't care what the rules are-these sculpts are just the best GW has ever done. If they keep getting better for every army...I'm gonna have a lot more than just 6 armies. Plus, that doesn't include my fantasy army and mantic dwarf army that I'm working on. War games rule my life....

Meh. The bikes look cool, and I would possibly be tempted to model up a Harlequins count-as Dark Eldar army, but other than that I'm not overly impressed. I'm just hoping it will take the focus of the IG and I can bring my tanks and lasguns out again without being one of a mass of IG players.
I am totally jumping on the Grey Knights battle barge though.
